Darrien peered down at the top of her head, which now lay atop his shoulder. He raised his free paw up to stroke her hair out of her face. "Well, shouldn't be obvious?" he smirked as he said this. Being a male was slightly difficult in his eyes. He hated to be categorized with others as if he was exactly like them. Unique described him perfectly because he was just that. Although love was high on his list, and the comfort of a female, that was not all he wanted of one. If he could find someone to hold a serious conversation with, he would be happy. And it seemed Amunet was trying to do so, which pleased him greatly.

"I'd really enjoy meeting someone who could occupy me long enough," he said in a half-joking tone. "Along with friendship, I'd like a bit of trust, and maybe several conversations. I hope that makes sense," he said quietly, hoping she didn't take what he said the wrong way. "I think I may have found someone who fills that description, but only time will tell." He smiled down at her, though he was unsure if she could see it.

She smiled up at him, she didn't want one of those big strong males who were all buff and no brains. He was gentle which is exactly what she was looking for. Her favorite thing above reading was long talks, about anything and everything. She wasn't one of the females who got all giggly around the males, she was the one who wanted to know the males. She look into his eyes as she spoke, "I never thought I meet someone like you. I crave someone who I can speak with and ponder with. None of the other fae's want to talk about the important things, they just want to have fun and laugh. It's great to have fun but I want a chance to think too. I look forward to seeing what time brings us."
She smiled so curious where this friendship would lead.

I am doing better. I am starting to think I may have an infection in one side of my incision, so when I bring Aria to see the doctor on Monday, I am gonna get myself checked out as well. I should be okay until then since the pain meds I take take away the pain. She actually slept through the night last night. I had to wake her up in order to feed her and since 6am this morning, she's already eaten 5.5oz of her formula. <333 She's doing so well!! Okay, that's my baby gush for today. lol How is everyone else doing?
