Yeah, I'm fine.

I got bit by some kind of bug yesterday (I am not sure what) and half my forearm became red and swollen. Since it was progressively getting bigger, I went to get it checked out. I have a skin infection from the bite. They have me on two different antibiotics, both strong, so it should do the trick. Just wish I knew wtf had bit me. I'm thinking some kind of spider. Nothing poisonous but it's not like any other bite I've had. I have pics but I don't want to gross anyone out. Well, it's not really gross. xD

Just a big red swollen skin area! Hurts a little and itches some but other than that, it's not bad. Of course, if it gets worse, that could be bad. That would mean the bacteria could reach the blood stream and I'd end up with blood poisoning. But I think the two strong antibiotics are meant to kick its a**.

It's cute, the doctor drew a circle (wobbly) around the area and told me that if it gets an inch and a half outside of that circle, to come back immediately.

Ugh I went through the saaaaame thing around this time last year. I took the antibiotics and used the benedryl cream for the swelling/itching and it was visibly smaller the next morning. I was watching that marked line like a hawk though to make sure it didn't go past it! The image you showed looked a lot like mine, but I waited a while to have it checked out and it was pretty big and it was very much raised. Plus, I had been scratching at it so it became worse from that. Use some benedryl cream though if it itches rather than calamine lotion because the benedryl will help in the infected area too. It helped a loooot for me.
