I hate spider season around here, they make huge webs on the side of our house near the trash cans and you can't see them at night ><

dad walked into one once and he says the thing was hissing before it bit him, he was bleeding and it looked like a cat bit him O_O;

I've heard that about black widows.


Rein: They say the recluse is up here in NY, but no proof. But my dad swears he knows someone who was bitten on the face by one. He still has a nice dark mark/scar on his face from the spider that got him. So you may have them by you and no proof, like here.

Mmmm, know someone who is highly allergic to the little white spiders...like epi-pen and hospital stay bad, can kill him.

Meeki~ Yes they are. There's one out in the shed I wish my parents would relocate. I won't go in there if I don't have to either. Last thing I need is to get bit by one of those nasty things.

No clue, she was sleeping at the time.

It was a girl scout camping trip and it got into her sleeping bag. Mom was so freaked abut spiders she had a light on all night...and she was the only one bitten.

She was actually that swollen that they were visible. :::Nods::: Mom reacts badly to bug bites...and I react the same way with misquotes so I avoid other bugs...just incase.

There's another spider to watch out for... I think its called a hobo spider. They are really dangerous. Let me see if I can find a pic of one.

Very bad. :::Nods::: Dad's co-worker had it, but very mild on the cheek. And the doctors couldn't say it was a brown recluse but dad, being an emt, said it was he was learning about them and their are the rumors there here.

&& there's those [ D A Y S ] where as much as I want to ignore the feelings..~

My mother had gotten bit by a Brown Recluse on the inside of her thigh while I was away last year.. the venom swelled to the side of a baseball.. Eventually she sat in a tub full of warm water and it broke. Thank god the outer wall did instead of the side that leads to her bloodstream o.0
