Cleo sits at the edges of the lake glaring at the fish she just caught, she then smirks and slowly starts to pull the fins off it. She loved how it was trying to get away from her as she did this, either way it would be dead soon.

Dasht-e:: *taps his chin in thought, then shrugs* I believe it means Great Salt Desert. My parents gave the name to me when we had to flee our home to come here. They died shortly after and I have had to rely on my own wits and cunning to survive as long as I have.

Varshawna peers out from between the leaves of a bush, hearing something flopping around on the ground on the other side. She smirks, seeing the fish being tortured, a hiss of pleasure escaping her before she could stop it.

Cleo smirks wider watching the fish's movements become slower she then leans over and splashes the fish into the water, so it could breath, she hoped to keep her prey alive a little longer before she torn it apart.

Varshawna frowns as she observes the other strange female dumping the fish back into the water, her tail snapping sharply behind her in her disappointment. She, obviously, was no mind-reader, so did not know of the others plans for the fish, but thought it was a waste to put it back.

Dasht-e:: Let us hope you never have to do without your parents. It is not an easy life, that of a parentless child.

Cleo taking the fish back out of water watches then taking her claws she starts to pull scales off the body, she stops to look around, it felt like someone was watching her she glared at the brushes waiting for them to move.

Varshawna's interest piques again, watching the strange female grab the fish again and start plucking its scales. Her stormy gray eyes narrow slightly when she notices the other stop and look in her direction. Sensing she'd been spotted, she walks slowly out of the bushes, stopping near, but not too near, the other female, her tail snapping idly behind her. "Sssssssso, you are like me, are you?" She hisses out, eyes lighting on the tortured fish again.

Dasht-e:: *blinks, then chuckles slightly, shaking his head* No need to be sorry, little one. It was losing them that made me what I am today, I guess you could say. If they still lived, I would most likely be a whining, spoiled little child since I do remember that they doted on me quite often as a child.
