Welcome to Gaia! ::

He looked up, nearly dislodged the bird's nest, and promptly wondered why there was a nest there to begin with. Blinking at that sudden thought, he forgot for a moment that Beryl was there, and looked upwards and crosseyed, the motion sending a small dust cloud aloft. He sneezed, and the bird's nest did dislodge, plopping in his lap, empty.

"oh." he said, blinking. "There's a bird's nest in my lap, Beryl."

"Yes you do. We can save that if you'd like. I think it would make a rather nice ornament in your spaces. How are you?"

She knelt beside him, carefully straightening and ridding his hair of a bit of dust. A small, sweet child. That's what he'd forever be. Beryl was almost envious.
"Sure!" he said, rather interested. Excited really. He had a decoration for a room that wasn't there yet! How cool was that?

"Those are my doors." he indicated them proudly. Then thought for a second. Oh, that was right. "Harmodious made them for me."

He looked up again, wondering if anything else would dislodge, squirming slightly under the patting that freed his feathery locks from their dust. "How are you?"

"Have you made anything behind that lovely portal yet?" Smiling a bit she called a soft breeze to dislodge the rest of the offending dustbunnies from his hair and feathers.

"Honestly, very tired and more than a bit confused, but I'll be alright. You?"
Aha. That brought back to mind his current dilemma, and he threatened to fall back into a contemplative pitfall. Eyes zeroed back in on the doors and he thought carefully.

No. Nothing decided yet. He didn't think so, at least...and it was still echoey inside.

That thought amused him again as he crawled about the caverns in his mind playing a bit again with the sound.

Laughing agan she gently boofed him on the ehad with her wing. "Hello? I think that maybe if you make a few details we can get your spaces set up, since your expression is telling me you haven't."

Still smiling she pulled a small notebook from her pocket as well as a pen. "You ready?"
Byrne started, sneezed again, this time at the lack of dust and looked up. His eyes brightened considerably. "Oh! Hello Beryl! How are you today!"
User Image
She laughed and shook her head. "Hello again Byrne, and I have already answered those questions. Would you like some help fixing up your rooms?" Oh boy, this conversation could repeat all day. And then some.
"Oh!" he said with a slight exclamation. "I don't know what to do." he answered. "I've been sitting and thinking. But thinking's sort of hard, so I haven't really figured it out yet. But the doors are sure pretty, aren't they? Harmodious made them for me." he said the last quite proudly.
User Image
"Yes, they're lovely. Hmm, would you like to have a nest in there? All big and just for you? The best branches and satin and silk all through it? From there the rest should come easy." Oh yeah, all day convo, right here.
"A nest?" he answered brightly. "Oh wow! That sounds wonderful!" Nests and trees and ....

"Hm." he frowned. "Fridges?" I don't think Buttercup would like it so high up..."
User Image
"Well, what if we had the nest just a bit above the ground? And make a ground level space for your koi and Buttercup? There could also be a large golden circle in one corner full of ashes for when you want to burn for a while. And the place for your koi can be set into the wall so no water splashes out on you. You'd just have to open the lid and give the little thing food. Sound good?"
He brightened again. "That sounds fun!" he answered. "But...do you think that the fish might have more room? To splash about more?"
User Image
Of course. We can have a little pond set right into your wall. It can splash and swim all it wants without getting water on you. I'm sure when it sees you with food it'll calm down so you can feed it. You want it to be gold rimed or have a warm colored wood? Both would look lovely. And your nest can rest above head-height as is only proper." She was smiling, making little diagrams as he got excited, trying to make a drawing for him so he could see it to make it.
He peeked over her shoulder and gave a little peep of happiness.
