♠ Pirate battle is a dice game using the the forum's dice rolling function! Detailed game instructions below.
♠ The game closes 11.59pm PST, 31st May 2017 - however, within this period, there are 3 rounds with a few days to enter.
- Those eligible who fail to participate in each round they qualify for will be pulled from the running.
♠ Winner will be announced and quoted in-thread
♠ Writing ability does not affect the contest, but is a requirement for participation.
. Dice Game Instructions .
♠ For a chance at Bounty, you must pirate battle!
♠ Round 1 runs from 20-24 May. Top 50% proceed to Round 2, from 25-28 May.
Top 3 proceed to Round 3, from 29-31 May 2016. All days end at 11.59pm PST.
♠ To pirate battle, you have to fill in the form and roll two (2) six-sided dice (D6) just once each round.
- Pirates will be ranked by their rolls' totals, highest first, except in the case of rolled doubles.
- Please do not delete and reroll - if you do so, we will disqualify you.
♠ Rolled doubles are when your dice's 2 numbers are the same (e.g. 2 and 2, 3 and 3).
No matter the total, doubles automatically win over rolls that are not doubles.
- However, if more than 1 person rolls doubles, the higher number (e.g. 5 and 5) versus a lower number (e.g. 2 and 2) will win...
♠ ...except Snake Eyes: 1 and 1, which will win every time.
♠ If you pass to Round 2, you will be notified and reminded to roll for Round 2 by quote.
