That's what I was thinking about the wedding. I talked to a special someone today (a special someone with a doctorates in psychology and lets me sit in a nice soft chair and talk about my problems) and he told me the same shiz. My "friend" said some hurtful a** s**t, like, friendship ending kind of hurtful. But da shrink tells me that since the wounds are fresh, I should take a chill pill, and see how I feel in a week.

Their engagement party is in a month. I don't wanna go... partly b/c I'm in "********" mode and partly b/c I'm a cheap skank and don't wanna buy them a gift. XD

Also, being in a wedding party SUCKS BALLZ. I was in my friend's wedding last year, and it cost me an arm and a leg, not to mention I had a pay $180 for a dress I'll never wear again most likely. sad And um, what responsibilities do you have? Well, you've gotta help plan the bachelorette party, but really, most things fall on the maid of honor. I lived out of state for the wedding I was in, so I didn't have to do anything but show up and pay for all the s**t I had to buy. confused Still, it was a pricey endeavor.

I hate people that throw fifty-bazillion parties before their wedding. That's so obnoxious. My sister has a friend who's getting married, and they're having a party every month or something stupid and ridiculous like that. That's just greedy as hell IMO! mad

a bridesmaid, no idea. if you were part of the actual wedding you probably want to let him know you are no longer participating and if you feel up to it you can go to the actual wedding. that's probably what i would do. if he said a lot of hurtful stuff he probably didn't mean half of it. people say a lot of s**t when they're angry.
