There's a woman at my work who's friend had to come to the US to go to the mayo clinic because the doctor in Canada wouldn't diagnose her with cancer.. which she ended up having. ;_;

in dominican republic it tends to be warm in the day and cool at night
but never too cold and rarely too hot - unless you live in the city

eroy - i've heard that too, people are too hung up on the 'free' aspect of it to admit it sucks lol

the same goes for people in the military who have free healthcare here. i have a friend who was in the marines and he told me some pretty gross horror stories about that. it's pretty damn shitty, half the time they have med students check you out. wtf is that? hellz no, scooter isn't giving me a root canal.
