I think it's because Rafiki was a female in the Broadway play, so Bullseye gave the auction winner the option of choosing male or female.

What Nel said. xP; Since Bulls gave that option to me, I wanted a boy and girl. I can RP sane-calm females better than males. XD;

If it's not too much trouble, Cass, could I have her as an elder, then? O: She doesn't have to be done anytime soon, just whenever you get around to it/feel up to it. I'm in no rush to see her in elder form, and I'd like to see the shop get going with some momentum before then. <3
