She's still fairly young and obviously well handled. Just got her on Wednesday. Someone donated her to the store and she is a jumbo, so she would have most likely been sold as food. One of the employees hid her with the dumbos and told me about her, so she wouldn't get eaten. xD

We aren't even allowed to take donated animals...which is why a guy let a box of hamsters loose in the store instead.

Why we aren't allowed to take donated animals: We aren't even allowed to take back animals that came from other stores. But at any rate, there's a chance that they could have something and spread it, so we aren't allowed to sell them. So they'd pretty much sit there unless an employee takes them home

Why a guy let loose a box of hamsters: Because we told him we couldn't take them and we was just that pressed to get rid of them. Also, because he's an insufferable p***k. I was catching hamsters for days
