In other news, I've drawn Leota too! He looks similar to Mal, but more feline. I'm reckoning that they of the same creature type, but different species... They look awesome anyway. Silverfang will like him I think!!

Any suggestions on a big cat/domestic cat he should be coloured like? I'm thinking a burmese or siamese cat personally. Any other suggestions?

A stroppy tabby cat XD Yes, it did for me too, but then I found a picture of a stroppy burmese siamese, and I was like, yes! That one looks like him, but I'm open for suggestions, even if he is my character XD I like outside opinions XD

Stroppy, as in belligerent? I actually had to look that up. xD Hm... not sure. Certainly, if Burmese fits him better you should go with that. :3

Blade, maybe just start with head shot, then if you feel inspired, go with the full body.
