Charpia are extremely shy creatures. But it has been recorded that when two of these creatures grow close to one another, they are able to expand their family through the unexplained magic of their island home. When in possession of a shimmering sash (woven by the female) and a rare Muse flower (located by the male), the two may journey to the far eastern corner of Charpia Island. There, a great magical tree watches over the edge of a windy cliff, and a whirlpool stirs below. When the power of the whirlpool starts up, the two say a blessing to the flower and allow the wind to carry it over the cliff to the waters of the sea.
It is unsure what powers are released as the flower is drawn into the whirlpool, but within a week the two Charpia involved discover a marble underneath each of their hats. The sash previously woven also solidifies into one color. With these two things, the Charpia construct a pouch; the same pouch all Charpia are born into. Over a week or so, the blessing they both said to the flower finds its way to the bag through the magical artifacts its constructed of, and creates their child.
Rules for Breeding
1. Only full grown Charpia may breed.
2. A Majestic Muse Flower must be purchased in order to breed.
3. It is recommended that both owners participating in the breeding each pay half of the cost.
4. Both owners participating in the breeding must:
.....a. Post their consent in the thread.
.....b. Have at least one romantic RP between the Charpia involved (the RP will be reviewed by me beforehand).
5. Two Charpia belonging to the same owner may also be bred, as long as they are not related. In this case, you would not necessarily have an RP requirement (because you'd be RPing with yourself XD) but instead you have the chance to write a story of interaction/a history between your two Charpia. It should be a good length, equal to that of a small RP.
6. Only male and female Charpia are able to breed at this time.
7. Only 1 slot will be open at a time (until further notice).
8. Only 1 Charpia is granted to parents at a time. They are quite a handful, after all.
9. The colors for the baby are determined by the colors of the parents. The only way to have specific traits to show up (with the consent of both owners):
.....a. Is to post or PM Befushi Land or bluezjessi with the preferred markings and to pay an extra fee (because you're asking for particulars XD).
.....b. NOTE: Special traits on customs/lineart altered Charpia will most likely NOT show up in the baby if only one parent has them! ie, fins, wings, scales, clothing additions... if both parents have wings though, then there is a better chance the baby will too.
10. Gender will be determined by a number randomization (1-10). Even numbers produce girls, odd numbers produce boys.
11. After breeding two Charpia, they will not be able to breed again for a month.
12. For now, a female can only have 4 children total/breedings.
