Reika stood in the clearing, her eyes closed as the wind rushed past her picking up snow causing it to sparkle all around her. The cool hair felt rather invigorating to the corn snake tabby hybrid. Her reptile instinct telling her to go find warmth and her tabby side just purring with delight. What would her father think if he found her out there standing. The wind rushed past again along with the hiss of voices she had grown accustomed to. She was a snake priestess of her tribe and she had to listen to the souls of those who had long past and her deities.
"There is someone coming..." she whispered to the wind as she took in the scent of two others. One female and the other male. "I do not believe harm will come from them though." |
