Pirago had taken many many days following the river down and away from the waterfall. It was there that he had left Jiang with the information that he was vacationing away from the clan and its lands. However, where the territory ended and free lands begun was beyond his understanding. He had to believe that if he kept going this way, he would be free from this place of lies. He was so certain as he trotted along the bank of the river through the forest.

It hadn't been too long since Jiang Shui Long had spent the time with Pira swimming in the pond. It was one of her few favorite places, and the thought of it made the water dragon smile softly. Her ears flicked forward before that smile turned slowly downward into a frown. It was just then that she remembered that Pira talked about leaving the clan for some time. She had heard Tal call out to her a few days ago to leave a message that she was leaving, and now Pira was too? It made her sad to think that she'd be all alone, by herself. While she should feel guilty that she hadn't seen anyone, especially her dad for quite some time, she couldn't muster the feeling as she had more pressing matters on hand.

Her red eyes gazed forward into the forest as she wandered silently, trying to find Pira and hoping that he hadn't left yet. She had spent some time thinking, and knew that Pira would probably be against what she was thinking, but it didn't hurt to at least try. The worst that could happen would be that she would be told no. Therefore, she was hoping to pick up on the mustang's scent before he had left the lands for his vacation.

Pirago was just about to leave the clan's turf as he could smell the scent of Amon and Faizah fading when he thought another scent got his attention. The mustang banthi stopped and looked over his shoulder. Was it really? Blue eyes stared over at the open wilderness then glanced back once more in the direction of the scent. A sigh escaped him. It took him hours to get to this point. What would it be to waste a few more minutes? So, Pirago turned and approached towards the scent slowly. He was keeping a slow pace to allow himself more time to travel. It was just as he had suspected. In the distance was a familiar blue tint. "Jiang?" He called out curiously. He would love to hear what she was doing so close to the edge of the territory.

Just when the water dragon was about to give up, Jiang heard Pira's familar voice and felt her spirits lift. So she had been heading in the right direction afterall! With this information in mind, her feet had gotten their spring back as her tail flicked slightly back and forth. It didn't take long before Pira's white body was not too far off in the distance. As she kept her gaze on him, she replied quite happily, 'I'm glad I found you...I was beginning to wonder if I had went in the wrong direction!'

She made her way towards him before she set her red gaze firmly on the male, 'I hope you don't think that you're wandering off without me, now.'

Pirago laughed and shook his head. "I'm beginning to think you know me too well, Jiang." He then blinked as her statement caught him off guard. "Jiang, this isn't a simple adventure or wandering around. I'm going to be gone for a month at least." He sounded kinda uncertain that he was understanding her correctly. Was she being serious? "You know your father would miss you and then come after you if you ever left that long." A smirk of play was across the male's muzzle as if he wasn't certain where this was going.

At Pira's words, Jiang knew fully well what the male had intended to do. She had thought about it, and it was something that she's always meant to do. She had previously discussed such an outing with her eldest brother, but with his presence not around any longer, their plan had fell through. Perhaps it was the dragon side of her that was restless, and if Pira had turned her company down, well then she had also decided that she would go off on her own. It wasn't like she couldn't fend for herself, afterall.

With a soft smile, she replied, 'I should hope so, Pira!' With a slight nod of her head, 'I would miss him too, but I know he wouldn't come after me. He'd wait till I came back to pound the questions into my thick skull.' Would her father really come after her? She didn't think he would, since he'd support any decision she made unless it was stupid and reckless...probably something she'd do amyway. 'If you think you'll be escaping by yourself, then you have another thing coming! I should think you know me better than that.' Pira was much more knowledgeable about the outside world than she was anyway, so it all worked for her, in her mind, that is.

Pirago blinked before he smirked and chuckled. "I take it your mind has been made up, huh? One thing I know well about you Jiang is when your mind has been made up, there's no point in arguing any different with ya." However, he didn't seem angry or defeated. If Jiang caught it, he appeared kinda happy about having company joining him. He even came up to her and gave her a quick nuzzle before he turned and started to head back the way he had come from. "I was thinking, since I really don't know much of the territory outside, I'm just gonna follow the river down. That way, worst comes to worst with hunting, we can at least fish."

With a sheepish look, Jiang nodded slightly. 'It was either go with you or go by myself...but then, I'd still be lonely all by myself that I'd probably stalk after you.' Though, she was rather surprised that he didn't seem upset by her decision, which made her feel light. That was a lot smoother than she had planned...she had actually thought she'd have to beg him or something of that extreme.

She returned the nuzzle before he listened to what he said. It did make sense, because if all else failed, they had a reliable source of food that they could easily feed themselves with. As Pira turned and started to head back in the direction he was heading, the water dragon bound after him, not wanting to hold him up any longer. 'I could hunt the fish for you!' Her eyes lit up at the idea of swimming, she did enjoy it so. 'It sounds like a good plan, I don't know too much about the lands outside of the territory, other than where my Ba-ba and I had travelled through on our way back to the caverns, though I didn't pay too much attention.' She was curious, 'Have you ventured outside of the territory?'
