((Sure ^^ I'll start.))

A crisp wind rustled what was left of the dry grasses in the plains below, her sandy eyes watching the blades sway as her thoughts drifted absent-mindedly in far off directions. Her striped pelt held off the chill of the breeze but it was hard to keep still on such a cool day atop the unforgiving rocky surface of the mountainside. So long she'd sat in silence like a sentinel over land that wasn't hers to watch over, an alien in a territory she struggled to feel welcome in. Her joints were stiff from the effort of motionlessness but inside she was torn with restless wanderlust. Some things never changed, even as time passed on in the ageless wild. The wind picked up in a gust again and her leathery wings fluttered at the stimulation.

A thought quietly turned to another, a friend. She wondered what he was doing right about now.

((Zing! <3))

Time had passed by rather slowly, but Raajmuat did everything in his power to keep himself busy. Each day made him more proud of what he's accomplished. The clan was thriving, even if it was small. That would change over time, he told himself quietly. With the coming of a new season just on the horizon, life would flourish just as it should. As the breeze rustled past him, he couldn't help but pick up on Tethra's scent. So Raven was about afterall. The basilisk couldn't help but let that slippery grin slowly etch it's way along his features. His milky eyes landed on nothing in particular before he decided to slowly make his way to where the female was resting. Even if his strong dislike for females was still there, Tethra had proven herself to him, in his eyes, that she was at least a little trustworthy. Although, his pride would not let him announce that to her anytime soon, her company was a breath of fresh air and would do him some good, whether he'd admit that to himself or not.

He carefully make his way through the mountainside, it wouldn't do him any good to get in a tight squeeze right now. As her scent came to him stronger than before, he tested the waters to see exactly where she was. 'The land must be a sight to see at a time like this.'

A chill passed down her spine as she heard the familiar, low voice of the basilisk male. She let a small sigh escape her nostrils as she didn't answer at first, admittedly struggling to find so much to say... or was there too much? The breeze died down thankfully for the time being, allowing the wind-tossed fur on the female's shoulders to settle back into place if not for only a little while. "It oddly falls short" She replied plainly, keeping her eyes on the sights down below. The colours were truly beautiful in all their natural shimmering hues of a mild winter but she couldn't bring herself to enjoy it.

After a moment of silence she digressed as she turned her self around to face Raajmuat, out of respect. To any other male alike her father, she would never be so delicate to avoid insulting them. "The grasses are almost gone, either muddy or eaten by grazing animals, but what's left is a brilliant gold. The trees somehow managed to keep a solid grip on some shades of green, it seems.... in case you were wondering." She glanced down at the rocks underfoot, shifting the digits in her forepaws to flex out the cold stiffness.
