Sad thing is now, if you even threaten physical discipline, your kid can call child services on you. Happened to a friend of mine. Terrible thing.

Yeah, unfortunately. rolleyes It makes me not want to have a kid, simply because I'm not sure if I would be able to discipline it the way I want to.

The days had passed since Jiang Shui Long had met up with Pira. It was great to see a good friend in such a long time. As she was sitting outside in the forest, the trees provided plenty of shade from the sun. To her back was the caverns, where life had started to sprout up again. Red eyes twinkled brightly as she thought about all the things she could do now with her friends. Her tail flicked slightly as she wondered who was about today.

(( I hear ya. It didn't help that the kid has some mental problems and refuses to take his meds. Now he's in a juvenile detention center. My friend and his wife are devastated. They tried so hard. ))

((Oh man. sad That sucks. What problems does the kid have?))

(( Bipolar and some learning disabilities. I forget which ones. One day he jumped another kid at school while off his meds. He was so smart and creative and just bursting with potential. ))

(( Yeah. At least he's in a place that's equiped to handle his problems. I hope he's able to get his head on straight. ))

((Yeah. Hopefully it'll make him realize that he can't behave like that.))

The bright powderblue tang banthi made his way through the forest slowly. He could see rays of light shining in through the trees around him. It had been mild and warm lately, and the ground was moslty covered in slush and some spots where the snow hadn't melted. It was odd weather for this time of year, but he wasn't complaining. As he came out of the trees, getting nearer to where the cavern was he spotted a banthi with fur just as bright as his was. Shido smiled, recognising her immediately and trotted in that direction. "Jiang!"

Ears flicked back slightly before Jiang Shui Long had turned her head to the sound of another. Red eyes went wide with recognition. Shido! She hadn't seen him in quite a while, it's glad to see that he is back. As he was coming over to her, her tail flicked back and forth as she couldn't contain her happiness. 'What a pleasant surprise! It's great to see you again, Shido.' She smiled, 'How have you been?'
