Another scent, one not so familiar filled Raajmuat's senses as he heard Talakin's reply. He couldn't help but feel affection towards the cornsnake. His pupiless eyes stared at the orange male before he nodded slowly, 'Everything's been going smoothly, or as smoothly as it could go. Soon, things should be running smoothly and lively.' He couldn't help but to be excited at the prospect of growing his clan.

The basilisk could feel the vibrations of others as his ears turned slightly to figure out which direction they are coming from. Just as Talakin was calling out a name, he turned his head to let his blank stare turn in the direction of Talakin's daughter. So, they weren't alone. No, there was another close by, he could smell her scent. 'We do appear to have company afterall, Little Snake.'

His eyes were on Reika for a few moments before they quickly flicked back over towards Raajmuat. What he had to say made him smile again, it was wonderful to hear him say such things. He knew it would be soon that he would finally be able to use his knowledge in practice. He would be the one that would watch of the sick, and watch the children that would be their way of making the snake line eternal. This was all happening because of Raaj and his careful planning. “Soon we will understand what it is truly like to live.. Forever.” As he relayed his message he stared at his sweet little girl whom stared right back before slowly making he way closer to him and Raaj.

“..It seems we are..” He lifted his head as he heard a faint pulse that he could understand for miles. It was Mimi. It seems that she had gotten lost yet again. Shaking his head slightly he sighed. “It seems she has gotten herself lost again. If only I could help her fix that impediment of hers.” He looked to Raaj again then down at her daughter. “I better go and find her. I will be back shortly.” He was asking although his words seemed to not say as much, his little girl no right next to Raaj.

“You wouldn’t mind if I left her with you, would you?” He looked at him then at Reika and heard his name called again. Without even waiting for his reply he called to her, “I will be there soon. Wait for me.” and with that he left, nudging his head slightly on Raaj and licking his little girl before turning and making leave towards Mimi. “…Walk around a bit Mimi, I will find you easier that way!”

Reika stared after he father as he left the scene leaving he with the large scaly green male. Why was he so different from them? What was it that made him like that, and why did it seem that he could not see her, even though he was staring right at her?

“..Umm.. He-hello. “ She wobbled as she looked up at him, her small eyes looking him over, it was hard trying to stand still and straight and stare up at things.

Mimi pricked her ears up as she heard a faint reply from her mate. Walk around a bit? Wasn't that what got her lost in the first place? She wanted to protest against that, but she didn't. She didn't want to argue with him for the first time in what seemed like never. Slowly rising to her paws, she began to wander around again, this time to let Talakin where she was going.

"I just hope he knows what he is doing telling me to walk around for a bit," she muttered to herself under her breath. Normally she would just sit still and wait for someone to find her, but things were different out here. She still hadn't gotten used to the many tunnels in the clan's territory. "When will I get used to it," she muttered to herself. "Never, that's when."

His attention shifted back to Talakin as Raajmuat knew he was going to go and get his mate. It wasn't all too simple trying to navigate through some of the passageways, that's for sure. And try doing it blind, ah what fun he had. Especially the dull pain on his head he endured. With a slight nod, the basilisk could easily tell that the cornsnake wanted him to watch his daughter. 'Why would I?'

Reika's scent made him smirk slowly, he could feel her staring at him or at least trying to. He was a sight, he knew that much. A monster, some would even say. But nevertheless, it didn't bother him as much as it used to. He had gotten used to it, not that he liked it all too very much. 'It's not polite to stare,' He paused to flick an ear to see if he could catch any faint sounds, 'You've gotten bigger than the last time I saw you.'
