Alestra watched the others talk and she backed away from them a bit. She felt a little out of place with all the others seeming to reconnect on a family level and so on. She didn't feel any of that at all, but it was mainly because she didn't really know any of them. When she heard the female speking to her, she snapped back to reality and looked to her. "Oh hello. Sorry about me blacking out there. I'm Alestra and it's nice to meet you Kas." She said with a happy smile before curling her tail around her body a bit for comfort. "How are you?" She aked her and immediately noticed she was different from everyone else. Not that it mattered, but she felt oddly more comfortable now thenshe was before.

"It's okay, don't worry about me." Alphonse said, dropping his paw from her. He didn't nuzzle her back, having always been a little shy about showing physical affection... he wasn't exactly cuddly, after all. "I looked for you, but... I couldn't stay. I'm sorry. I would have rusted and..." He hung his head.

As her brother landed next to her she returned the nuzzle, licking his cheek and staring at him with bright blue eyes. "I've missed you. How have you been?" Even the alphess suffered from heartbreak, as it had been a great while since she had last seen her mate. However, she hid it well - along with most of her other emotions.

Kasinda scoffed. "It WILL NOT, Uncle Amon." Although just to be sure she looked about with her yellow eyes to see if she had scared off the movement around them in the trees.

But, unable to keep her attention locked onto something for long, she snapped back to look at Alestra with a grin. "S'alright! I kinda blank out too sometimes. Mom says I can't sit still or something, I dunno." She shrugged the shoulder that wasn't attached to a limb. "I'm good, ready to get out of Kitara's house. GAWD it was so boring there. Where did you stay?"
