It was but a year and a half since Talakin finally left the caverns with his best friend and Alpha Raaj to find the Snake Citadel and yet now it seemed like forever to him. Not only was his family living with him, he just felt like he was finally at peace and that this was truly his home, unlike the caverns. He was walking softly towards the hot spring waters that flowed simply in the far reaches of the cave, his paws padding ever so softly onto the ground, barely making and sort of sound. He had practiced this in order to not only enable himself to sneak up next to his prey but to ease his heightened sensed friend.
He was staring straight ahead, watching the bends in the rocks, taking in the grooves that were like tombstones and evidence that others had been, and had made this path as it was today. Breathing out a soft sigh at the thought that had just occurred his quickly turned making his way into the thick warm air that was dubbed by him, the steam hall.
It only he had not been orange he thought softly as he flicked his eyes to his feet. Even through the steam he could still identify his feet rather clearly due to his strong color. Mimi was sure to see him by now, and no doubt Reika as well.
