July 5th, 2013 || We wanna thank everyone who's hung in there while we were in a dry spell during the end of last year/beginning of this year. We missed our anniversary in the shop as well as quite a few things. However, some custom and breeding slots have been open.
We let go of a lot of staffers who were inactive for a gauntlet of reasons. Those who find more time in their schedules and wanna hang out here and make awesome bunnies will be happily welcomed back; however in the future, availability and spending time with the shop will have a huge bearing on hirings.

RULES

follow the gaia TOS
no cybering, keep things pg13, etc. you should know them by now.
steal the art, we steal your soul
we're not kidding. our line artist and colorists have worked hard to make these
pets, and the person gaining the pet worked hard to get it. you disrespect this,
you're getting blacklisted and will be banned from gaia.
read the first page
it'll save you a lot of questions, and us, a lot of answering.
ignore drama
don't start it, don't join any, don't even acknowledge it's there. drama is never
good. take arguements to PM's. if drama happens to break out in thread, ignore
it, or alert a staff member. you might also be punished for jumping in!
no advertising
we have an affiliate section for a reason. sigs and just mentioning a shop
you like is fine, but don't blatantly advertise your or someone else's thread.
begging and whining is uncool
seriously, it's not hard getting a pet here in the first place, and whining is just
plain annoying. they will get you nowhere but the door.
absolutely no selling your bunnies
it's disrespectful, rude and will get you blacklisted immediately. you may hold
free contests, give them away or ask the shop to host a free raffle or contest
for them, however you may never make a profit from your bunnies.
staff are the gods of this thread
listen to us. if we tell you do something, it has a purpose. disrespecting the
staff is a serious offense. obeying staff isn't dependent on whether you agree
or not. you do what they say. if you don't like it; leave
have a problem with shop issues? only pm the mule or Aesceus
we are not telling you that you can't pm a staff member if they are your friend. however, we are telling you that if we catch wind of someone getting pm's from shop goers who are talking to them about problems they have with the thread, guild, or shop as a whole. that person will be graylisted for 30 days. if you have a problem with the thread, shop, a colorist, policies, whatever.. you send a pm to the mule. it will be handled by staff. we'll try to get back to you asap or at least within 24 hours. though sometimes it might be longer.
don't heckle your colorist
be grateful you get a pet at all. we're willing to make changes, but don't be
overwhelmingly nit picky. don't PM a colorist unless they explicitly state it's
okay either.
patience my friend
we do have lives (yes, omg..), so if things aren't on time every once in awhile,
please be patient. they will come eventually. feel free to PM the mule if you find
it's really been much too late.
literacy goes a long way
while we're fine with some l33t or chatspeak, please at least try to be a little
literate. we don't want to have to look up what you're saying.
save to your own server
we don't want to exceed our bandwidth on photobucket. it'd be a huge favor if
you don't direct link.

FAQ

is the shop hiring?

we sometimes do hire new people for a small handful
of reasons; also sometimes we take on people for guest
coloring for other future events.if you're interested in any
of that, you should apply here

would you say this is a SRS shop?
by all means, no! we don't like serious shops. this is meant as a fun,
easy-going place to play games and roleplay at your leisure. the only
real rules we have here are don't steal the art/concepts, and don't be a
total douchebag all the time.

can I have 23957203957 cosplays please?
sure, why not? just so long as there's only one of each character.

so the bunnies come from carrots?
no, the carrot 'stage' is meant to be a representation of setting out bait for
a bunny. in the next stage, the bunny has been attracted, ate your carrot,
and now it's yours to roleplay with!

are the bunnies roleplay required?
not at all! but if you want to, by all means, please do. you can earn some
pretty sweet perks through roleplay.

where should I do my roleplaying?
the guild was created just for that purpose, so we encourage you to use that.
however, if you prefer, you can always roleplay over PMs, IMs, in this main
thread, or in an outside thread (say, in the breedables roleplay forum, or in
your personal guilds). just be sure to log any outside roleplays in the bunny
guild so they can be used for roleplaying perks!

what's the shop's setting?
a large farm where all the little bunnies can hop around. we want that to be as
open-ended as you, the roleplayer, would like it to be - shape the roleplay
universe however you like! your bunnies don't have to live on this farm,
however, and you're welcome to make up whatever roleplay setting you want
to for them. there are no restrictions, as long as it's fairly realistic! we do have
a mini map of the farm under our story though, for reference!

so what are these roleplay perks I keep hearing about?
roleplayers can earn items, discounts, and breeding bonuses in the shop. they
can also gain you favor with colorists. we love active people and regulars!

What if I suddenly hate you all and never wanna come back?
we're sorry you feel this way, but you are entitled to your own feelings, of course.
if in the event you feel you will never want another thing to do with our shop for as
long as you live; you may either keep your bunnies in case you change your mind
after some time passes. or... if you are so vehement as to in fact never return;
you may ask for all of your bunnies to be rehomed. you can either have them given
to a certain person, multiple people, or they can be given to newbies or whatever.
if you'd like to have your bunnies rehomed; please send a note to the shop
mule thanks.

Well.. I don't HATE you guys.. but I really dislike the way you handle this and that and the other thing!!!!!!
we try to keep a thread in the guild that is made for people to post feedback on
things. you do not get grey or blacklisted for expressing your feelings on it. you
only get listed if you do so in a disrespectful manner that's rude to the staff.
you also will be listed if you are expressing this through pm's or personal contact
when the staffer does not want to be contacted about shop drama/issues.

BUT I DIDN'T GET WHAT I WANT THE WAY I WANTED... *fumes* it's not fair... *add rants full of this that and the other thing*
first of all, we apologize that experience wasn't pleasant. we're sorry you weren't
able to enjoy an event that our staff has spent probably months working on
and developing for everyone so that we can all have a good time together. we're
sorry you didn't win a pet that you wanted very badly. however, we do our very
best to program all events or activities to make it as equal opportunity as possible.
we want everyone to be able to participate and do our best to prevent biases
and favoritism. however, sometimes there is only so much we can do since
an experience in shop also has to do with user participation/responses. and we
cannot control other people. if you are really so put out with things that have come
to pass; then all we can say is that we're sorry. that's it. if it makes you feel like
you need to leave cuz of it; then.. well have a nice day. hope to see you back if
you're able to get past it.

stages

our bunnies can go through three stages of 'life'. though not all of them do,
however! the chart below shows the two breeds of bunnies available -- floppy
to the left and regular to the right.

please read the chart from top to bottom for stages <3

carrot: if you want a bunny, sometimes the best way to find one is to leave
out bait! we supply our customers with delicious fresh carrots to use to
attract a new companion.
baby: this is the youngest stage of a bunny's life cycle. breedings will
result in this stage and skip the carrot stage, most of the time.
adult: the final stage of a bunny's life cycle. it's also the most common
stage that we offer at the shop. at this stage, they can breed and create new
bunnies!

there are no special properties as of yet for them, but that might
come later on.

roleplay information & story

These bunnies live in the world of Gaia. They originate from a big farm that's located north east of barton. This farm is not too farm from some dense forest areas. At this farm, a wonderful lady who lives in a large colonial style house with many rabbit hutches in her backyard as well as a big barn full of breeding bunnies. there is also a rather vast carrot and cabbage farm fields as well. This farm has been passed down for several generations. One older generation is rumored to have been responsible for selling the rabbits to the G-corp lab techs that resulted in grunnies. confirmation of this seems elusive.

from this farm, many rabbits are purchased by private owners; while many are also purchased by entertainment companies who train rabbits for movies, tv, and printed ads. Some people buy rabbits to try to train them to hunt with them in the Monster Galaxy quests.

after a hot summer when famine, heat, and disease had wiped out most of a local wild warren in the forests near that farm. some remaining vigilants observed a human sneaking around at night kidnapping bunnies. this gave them the idea to steal a few themselves to help fill their thinned and disparaging ranks.

then deeper in the forest in a clearing, a strange thing happened. a rift in a multi dimensional passage opened, and several bunnies spilled out. this event was followed by some other bunnies coming through the portal to investigate this occurrance.

will you help solve the mystery of the bunny stealing? or maybe your bunny will help figure out who all these strangers are, where they came from, and if there's any way to close it up.

most bunnies in this shop fall into 3 main groups.

availability

FLATSALES/FLAFFLES

flatsales are simple ways to gain premade pets. normally they will be
speed sales, where the first person who posts a code claiming a pet will
win that pet. sometimes however, there will be flaffles, where we'll give
a few days for people to post a code to enter in a raffle for the pets
available!

you may only win one pet per flatsale, and posts may not be editted. you
may also proxy for another person, but you will need to make two
seperate posts if you want one for yourself as well.

RAFFLES/FREE RAFFLES

another way to get pets is through raffles, where normally there will minor
editted, premade pets. feel like you've been having a good luck streak lately?
tickets are only 100g a piece, and almost always unlimited! there's also a
chance that after a certain number of tickets are bought, more pets will be
added to the raffle, which means more winners! free raffles are also held
occasionally, where the price to enter is free, but you only get one ticket.
some special circumstances allow you to get extra tickets though, so keep
watching and read all rules!

you may only win one pet per raffle. if you are picked twice, then we will reroll
the second time.

AUCTIONS

normally reserved for the heaviest editted pets or omfg custom offers,
auctions are when you really wanna splurge. you bid on a pet against
others, and whoever has the highest bid by the end of the auction wins
the pet! sometimes there will also be 1g auctions as well, where the
max bid increment is 1g.

GAMES/CONTESTS

more often than not there will be a random sort of games or contests being
held in thread or in guild. just stick around and keep your head in the thread
and you're bound to find a chance for a pet this way! rules change from game to
game and contest to contest, so be sure to read everything too! all games and
contests are free to play and free to win unless stated otherwise.

EVENTS

at special times during the year, events will be held where pets themed to the
event will be sold in a variety of ways. some events are relatively small, but
occasionally we'll hold a massive event, so keep your eyes riveted to the thread!
most event pets will be editted too, so keep on your toys for the pretties!

customs and bribes

PRICES::
basic non editted colored only = 50k
+10k for complicated coloring
+5k for minor editing
+10k for edits including expression, tweaking a line position on the body,etc
+25k for any kind of clothing or hair edits
aside events, customs and bribes are the only way to get unnatural 1st gen bunnies.

breedings

how does breeding work here?
you have a few options when you choose to breed your bunnies - you can
have a natural breeding (passing down the parents' traits), an unnatural
breeding (attracting random bunnies), or a mix of both. all breeding costs for
unnatural, natural, or mixes, are the same.

can homosexual bunnies breed?
yes, homosexual bunnies can breed. homosexual couples can only have
unnatural breedings though, and all breeding options are the same cost as
heterosexual couples.

how many babies can my bunny have?
naturally, litters range from 2-6 babies (or carrots). the number of babies will
be rolled and owners of the parents may keep 1 baby each, and the rest
must be given away, or given back to the shop for homing. there is also a
special "extra bunnies" options colorists can choose to offer! check below
for more information!

what's this about "extra bunnies"?
this is a luxury option for the owners of the two parents, and colorists can
choose whether or not to offer this in their breedings. at an extra cost, you
can purchase up to 3 extra babies for your couple, for a maximum of 9
babies if you're lucky! do not ask for extra babies if the colorist is not offering
them though! this is grounds for greylisting under the heckling colorist rule.

how come you guys added fees for edits?
for a while, a lot of our colorists were avoiding doing breedings. this is because
most pairs and choices in breeding arrangement was resulting in huge litters of heavily
editted pets. if your colorist has to work twice or three times as long and hard to make you pretty bunnies as an uneditted pair; then their pay should reflect this as well. consider that it is still cheaper that way than to bribe a breeding.

does this mean that when bribes open, we can bribe them for a heavy editted breeding?
yes, but do keep in mind a few things. one of them is that if you are bribing for a heavy editted breeding and offer less than if they did the same work on a custom and got a minimum of 100k. well, multiply that times 4-6 or however many babies you'd get; and that should be your base offering for bribed breedings. bribed breedings do let you ask for certain things. all colorists reserve the right to make edit monster breedings a bribe only item, due to the extreme amount of work and editting involved. if they choose to do this, there is to be no drama about it. since no colorist is obligated to take just any bribe thrown at them. if they earned their bribe slot and don't feel like doing a certain thing; they don't have to. it's their bribe slot, and they earn it through hard work and shop dedication.
