the thing with the "validation" is basically just image size. if it's over 100KB, you get a little image that says something like "this image has been removed from this person's randosig. the user should go to the website to find out why it has been removed" in the randomizer in the sig instead of the pet/whatever itself.

Here's something people should NOT do:

Randomly PM a shop owner and ask what they can do with their lineart and if they can color it or not.

Really. This has happened to me several times. I find it more irritating than someone who didn't read the rules and PMed me about buying a pet. I have no idea who they are, and being busy with my own shops, I have no desire whatsoever to have anything to do with their pet. If I were at all interested in cleaning up their lineart and coloring for them, I would have contacted them a long time ago.

This really cannot be prevented, if you clearly have it stated in big bold text in your rules not to PM you, then yes it's somewhat understandable, but you have to realize that the general population of the breedables forum does not like to read through rules and just likes to jump into things. There's always going to be SOMEONE who PMs you asking stupid questions that have already been answered in your thread. However, the methods you use to reply to these annoyances determine whether or not you have what it takes to be a nice shop owner, meaning, if somebody PMs you, simply reply to them telling them calmly to read the rules and that you don't appreciate their PM, or ignore it completely.

Anywhere you go, you're going to find lazy, ignorant people, and putting a rule here for them isn't going to change that. razz
