Blue's Digitoys was inspired by Tamagotchis and other various feedable plastic pets. Despite the fact that I always killed the things off, and seemed far more entertained doing so than in ractually keeping them alive, I always rather enjoyed the odd little creatures.

All artwork in this thread is made 100% by me, blue. Under no circumstances should you take anything from this thread and sell it and claim it as your own work, nor should you edit any of my work. If you want one, you'll just have to buy it and properly credit to me. (;

1 July 2010: CUSTOMIZATION IS BACK! But different. So read up.

31 March 2010: Due to my new status, I am no longer allowing for customization of any kind. Sorry guys, but this is the only way I can have time to keep this shop open at all!

26 August 2009: I added a special new section to the shop, about Charms! These are a special gift from me to you folk who tip big and who keep coming back every month. Go check out post 8 for more information.

13 April 2009: Due to confusion with my domain, while I'm still hoping to get eclectic-blue back, I have moved the digitoys to a different location.

When you first buy your Digitoy, it will be a simple egg bouncing happily in its little plastic case; but an accessory will sit beside the egg and encourage it, throughout the course of a month, to change and ready itself until it hatches!

Each accessory will result in a different hatched pet -- and each month will have different accessories, so keep an eye peeled for fresh accessories. Each month will also feature new plastic cases for pets, available only for that month, so snatch them up while you can!

Customization

I will do customized colors for cases, but it's enough additional work that I'm upping the cost.
Custom colors will cost 10k a case. If you are interested, however, use the form below:

Payment

Always send a trade immediately after posting your order. I will receive your trade, respond to it, and then start working on your pet -- but I will not deliver your pet until the trade has been confirmed on your end!

Periodically, I will open up some custom pet slots; the people who get these slots will choose their cases as usual, with the same pricing. However, when they get to the 'accessory' stage, they will request a free custom accessory, instead of one of the monthly ones.
They will not have any say in what the final, hatched result is -- but by choosing that accessory wisely, they will have an impact. In other words, they guide the results, but will still be surprised!
Customs accessories are around 50k each, and cases 200k, but please PM me, don't post in the thread! This is an informal thing, just shoot me a PM to ask about it, and we can talk. (:

These are very simple, 2-stage hatching pets; I have no plans for RP or anything of like because I just don't even see how it could possibly ever work! They're cute art, though, that will sit and bounce happily in your sig.

These 'charms' are a new addition to the shop, meant to reward regular customers and big tippers! For the moment, everyone is welcome to take the below 'Digitoys' charm, and use it in their sig, journal, profile, or wherever else might interest them! More free charms may be added as time passes.

In addition, every month [starting September 2009] I will give out a special charm for big tippers. This charm could be anything, but will always be pixel art and digitoy related in some way! These charms can be pasted beside each other to form a row of dangling bling that you can display anywhere! (:

In the future, I might add other special charms -- like charms for people who get custom colors in their pets, or charms for people who order a full set, or whatever else might come in high demand, so keep an eye out!
