♠ Do not steal the art!
♠ Keep the thread drama free!
♠ No godmoding!
♠ This is a realistic shop, so your dog cannot be magical in anyway!
F A Q
♠ Are these roleplay mandatory?
xxx No! You do not need to roleplay at all. You can still breed and get rank changes without roleplay! For rank changes you would need to buy chronicles instead of earn them however.
♠ Does my dog have to be naturally colored?
xxx Yes. Or semi-natural. Semi natural means unusual markings or oddly colored accents are acceptable. If you are unsure just ask!
♠ Are cosplays allowed?
xxx Yes, but we will turn the character into a dog. For instance, a dog won't have clothes, human hair, or a 'clothes' like pattern of fur painted on but it can have items or a pelt that represents the character. If you need ideas on how to translate a character, we are always happy to help!
♠ Can my dog be half wolf?
xxx Yes, and we even have a stage that dictates a dog has more wolf heritage than dog. This is free to request when your dog is young (newborn, pup, teen) or you can pay a 25k recoloring fee to get it.
♠ Are there any rewards for getting certain page numbers (like first 500 pages, first 1k, etc)?
xxx Yes! First 1k pages of the shop is a free custom dog for the first poster. Every 5k pages after, yttra offers a raffle for an additional free custom.
♠ What the heck are 'new breeds'?
xxx In the first version of the shop we had different dog breeds that could breed and have their own pups. However, they could not change ranks and were not able to do much, roleplay wise, depending on the breed. Now since the lineart has been lost, and the concept is different you can get them converted into after dogs. Just post in the recoloring thread, located in the guild.
♠ Can I get a pet in another shop colored after a pet I have here?
xxx Yes, you can. So long as it is a dog you own and not someone else, you effectively own the design for it so long as it is not a cosplay (OCs from things such as video games do not count as cosplays).

Flatsales may be speed or roleplay based. If it is speed based then a notice with the choices and rules will be posted five minutes before the sale start. Afterward a 'go' post is made. The quickest user to post for their choice gets the pet! Proxies are allowed for speed sales.
If a flatsale is roleplay based then a prompt will be posted in which you will have a limited amount of time to reply to it. Occasionally you will be able to list your top choices if there is more then one pet up for grabs. Proxies are not allowed, as we want to see your creativity and talent - not your buddies!
Regardless of the flatsale type, you may never edit your post! Mistakes of spelling and grammar can easily be ignored. If you have forgotten your preference list, or the indicator letting us know you read the rules - then just post it in a new post. This second post MUST be made before the time limit expires otherwise it will not count! During all flatsales your entry must include the phrase: eat or be eaten or your entry will not be counted!
Should you win, flatsale pets are: 5,000 g (adult), 7,000 (teen), 10,000 g (pup).

When a raffle happens a post will be made offering the pet(s) up for grabs. You may buy an unlimited or limited number of tickets during the duration of the event depending on the type of raffle being offered. Once the raffle ends all numbers will be randomized and the winner or winners is/are chosen. You cannot purchase tickets for a specific pet. However, if there is more than one being offered then first person rolled will have first pick, second person rolled will have second pick and so on. Each person will have a limited amount of time to make their choice or it goes to the next person in the pecking order.
Tickets cost: 100 g per ticket
A u c t i o n s
Once a starting bid is made then the auction begins officially. Bids are accepted until the end time in which case the highest bidder wins. If the bidder cannot pay within the allotted time it will go to the next person. For all auctions there will be a snipe guard. This means that if a bid is made within the last 10 minutes of auction then another 10 minutes will be tapped on. This will continue to happen until there is a full 10 minutes of the high bid standing. The only acceptable payment types for auctions are: gold and event/rare/donation items/letters (above the 40k mark). Please do not plan bids in thread or 'cheerlead' others to win as this creates unneeded drama.
Bidding starts at: 10, 000 g

The roleplay takes place in a barren arctic wasteland, with conditions similar to the state of Alaska. It takes place just after a disease akin to the bubonic plague has wiped out half of humanity. Fortunately animals are immune to this disease, known as Y1p1.
To learn more about the disease and a more detailed explanation on what happened, please visit this thread!
Unfortunately, the animals now have to adapt to a world where dogs now out number humans 5 to 1. The human survivors no longer have a way to import/export goods out of Souna other than dog sled teams. The people here have harnessed an energy source from a waterfall, but the power is only sufficient enough to light houses and provide mild electricity. Thus, though the timing is modern the people live very rustically.
There are many abandoned places in Souna, and for a more detailed few please use the map and information provided in each district.
P l a y a b l e A r e a s
Did you find all the key locations on the map? There are five different locations (subforums) that are very important. Although there are some that are hidden (like a special cave, or a majestic field), your dog is free to explore them . The five areas are as followed:
Each location has its own information, and you can set your dog's home/den (journal) in one of them! You are ONLY allowed to house journals here. Roleplay is done in the main part of the guild.

Enforcer Once a member of the elite police force these dogs still patrol the area acting as guards for hire, both for humans canines alike.
Miscreant These dogs are like second in command to a mongrel. They are known for their fighting abilities, cunning, and are adept at stealing food.
Scout Once bred for dog shows, these dogs now act as surveyors for their owners. They will make sure the area is safe from debris. When traveling they usually hold a place next to their owners in the sled.
Runner These dogs work only in towns and do not accompany sled dogs. They essentially carry medicine, food, or messages from one length of the town to the other and occasionally to the outskirts.
Lead The lead is the sort of 'alpha' of the group as they are placed at the front of the sled. They are generally very intelligent as well as fast.
Point The point dogs are the ones who run behind the lead dogs. They are responsible for keeping the speed and course the lead sets as well as doing a larger part of the pulling.
Swing Swing dogs are basically a second row of point dogs. They are responsible for mentoring the T-dogs (if applicable) behind them.
T-dogs Also referred to as the 'r-group', these dogs are simply there with no other specific rank to give the sled extra power and speed. They are often added in to get them used to different positions until they are finally ready to accept one of the more advanced positions.
Wheels Normally the bulkiest dogs on the team, the wheel dogs are positioned directly in front of the sled. They are the strongest of the team, and when the command is given they are the ones who really get the sled started. Their main priority is to help the sled turn and not slide uncontrollably.

Mongrel Mongrels lead a band of dogs in a type of pack. They may sometimes look as sickly and unkempt as a stray. Despite their obvious 'tramp-ish' nature, what they lack in health and general well being, they make up for in great strength and influence.
Champ This is a sled dog that has seen many a trail. They know the hardships and most of the routes like the back of their paw. They are strong, dexterous, and highly intelligent. Many have won awards given to them by the humans they have served.
Medic These dogs are very important as they can climb high into the mountains to aide humans and animals that have taken ill and need some type of assistance. Their barrels have medicines and soothing balms in them and they have some medical knowledge themselves.

Since the town of Souna lies enraptured by the endless woods, majestic mountains, and other natural elements it is no surprise that there are plenty of woodland creatures that a dog could meet along their journey. With that being said, these are also animals that can be roleplayed by yourself to interact with dogs or they can be used as standalones. We offer these creatures up to you to improve on the dynamics of roleplay, to expand your skills with acquiring a number of different animals, and to offer a completion to the shop art.
These are not intended to be traditional "familiars". They are known as 'widllife' and are not companions. Some may be roleplayed as having a bond with your dog, however for some it simply isn't plausible. To what spectrum this exists in is entirely up to you. You can win them from games and through the occasional customs, when they are offered. The price is 25k for each wildlife, but you may not get edits.
