Sakura looked at Donald. "Sora..... Hm it's too bad that you haven't seen each other in so long. Friends should see each other as often as they can." She said turning back to the tree, "I don't know..... Maybe a Clow Card? But which one could cause a burn........." She pondered for a moment before getting an ah-ha moment. "It must be the Firey! That one can control fire and is an elemental card." She groaned, "Which means it'll be harder to capture."

((XD))

"Ah! An elemental." Donald muttered, beginning to grin again, forgetting his lonely woes. "My favorite." He coughed away his eager grin and turned to Sakura, back to business. Making plans for whatever was coming. "Can you tell how old that mark is? How close we might be to it?" He paused. "And, tell me more about these Clow Cards. What are we up against?"

Sakura looked at Donald wondering why he seem so excited. "Ah.... no I can't tell how old the mark is or how close we are." She said hanging her head, "But it must not be close since I can't sense it." She paused for a moment thinking of how to explain the Clow Cards. "Well the Clow Cards are magical cards that Clow Reed created. Each one has its own personality and its own powers that are mostly centered around an elemental force or performing a specific task. When in use or acting on their own, the cards assume alternative forms that vary from card to card. The original Clow Cards fall under a specific sign, sun or moon, corresponding to the guardians Cerberus and Yue." She explained, "Some of the cards are really nice and gentle but others are violent....."

Donald placed a paw on her shoulder. "Hey, it's fine. I think it's better that you can feel how close they are compared to just looking at marks and guessing." He smiled encouragingly. He scratched his head as she described the cards. "Okay. I think I get it." He looked up the chared tree. "And this, firey, is it a more violent one? You said it'd be harder to catch."

Sakura smiled at Donald. "Thanks." She said, "If you really want to see a Clow Card I can show you what one looks like." She shook her head. "I don't know..... Firey isn't really violent but it is troublesome and dangerous." She sighed then turned from the tree. "I guess we should keep looking."
She walked away from the tree and walked in the direction they were going earlier. She noticed a couple more trees with burn marks.

Donald shook his head. "Nah. I'll be fine without seeing it. Just point when ya see this one." He nodded. "Troublesome and dangerous sounds better than just plain violent." He said as he followed Sakura, then pointed at more of the burned trees. "Looks like we're at least headed in the right direction."

Sakura shrugged. "Okay." She said nodding, "Yeah it does seem like we're going in the right direction......" She trailed off as she sensed a card. "I sense..... Oh my!" She exclaimed seeing a flare of fire, "We better hurry!" She began running in the direction of the fire.

The Firey was out in the woods, not very happy. It looked around and shot some fire at a tree. The tree burned for a moment before the fire died. It then moved on heading deeper into the woods.

"Sakura?" Donald frowned when the female trailed off, looking rather distracted. "Sakura?" He nearly jumped when she started talking excitedly again. "What? You feel it?" He tried to call as he ran after her right before seeing the flashing light in the distance.

Sakura looked back at Donald and nodded. "It must be near here. Hurry up Donald-san!" She called. She skidded to a halt at the tree the Firey had burned. "This looks recent." She put her paw up to the burn before jerking it back, "It's still hot." She turned to look at Donald. "It might still be near here." She said taking out a small key. She held it out before her and concentrated. "The key that holds the power of darkness. Reveal your true form to me. I, Sakura, commands thee under convert. Release!" As she said this a magic circle appeared beneath her. The key turned into a staff and the circle disappeared. "Ready?"

Donald ran as fast as he could in his webbed feet, but he was keeping up. He nearly tripped while trying to stop when Sakura did though. He jumped backward when the circle appeared, grinning slightly when the key became a staff. "Neat." He said, sticking out his own hand in turn, and making his own wizard staff appear in his hand. He checked it out quickly and nodded. "Ready when you are." He said, holding his staff at the ready in front of him.

Sakura blushed and grinned. "Thanks." She said with a nod. She looked at his wizard staff and nodded. "That was pretty neat." She said turning forward. She began to walk forward but paused to look at Donald. "Donald-san are you able to use magic? And would it be useful against the Firey?"

The Firey stopped once again to burn another tree. It then heard voices coming from the direction it had just come from. It turned and flew back, beating it's great wings. It saw two creatures talking and narrowed it's eyes. It then shot some fire at them.

Donald gave a small smile back. "I like it." He said with a chuckle. Her question made him pause too. "I have magic, yes. I use the four elements fire, water, ice and lightning in my attacks. Against this Firey, I don't know. I've never- Watch out!" Donald lunged to push Sakura to the side and simultaniously aimed a water attack at the ball of fire that seemed to have come out of nowhere.

"Perhaps water would be best." Sakura said before Donald shoved her out of the way, "What?!" Her eyes grew big as a fireball came flying towards them. It hit Donald's water attack and the two attacks canceled each other out. "Wow." She said looking around. She was searching for the Firey since that was the cause of the fireball most likely. "I don't see- OH!" She said seeing the Firey fly towards them. She thought about the cards she has and which would be best. "I don't know which card to use! I can only use two of them at a time right now!"

The Firey flew closer to the creatures angry that it's attack had been so easily defeated. Fire flared around it as it turned up the heat. A fireball appeared in each of it's hands and it threw one at Donald then the other at Sakura.

"Watch out Donald-san!" Sakura called ducking to the side to avoid the fireball.

Donald first checked to make sure Sakura was okay, then stood up to face the Firey. "Better think fast then." He told her, tossing out another water attack at the new flame. He smirked unconsiously, the familiar adrenaline rush of battling returning. He tried to figure out what else he could do besides just blocking the flames thrown at them.

Sakura looked at Donald in horror. "I have the Windy, the Wood, the Illusion, the Dash, and the Watery." She mumbled as she dodged another fireball, "I could try the Windy to blow away the flames or I could try the Watery to douse the fire...... but your water attacks aren't doing much so I doubt the Watery would too." She then dodged another fireball and looked at Donald. "Donald-san what do you suggest?"

The Firey was getting really angry that it's fireballs weren't hitting them. It acted like it was going to throw a huge fireball at Sakura but at the last minute it threw it at Donald. It then flew towards him and embers floated down in its path.
