Donald snorted again, half grumbling and half clearing his muzzle. The air was so cloying! He allowed Sakura to lead him away as he grumbled under his breath about a certain human.

Sakura was glad that Donald let her lead him out of the beauty parlor. "Where should we go next Donald-san?" She asked when they were outside, "Perhaps we should rest for a minute and get something to eat or drink? I think there's an outdoor cafe around here."

Donald nodded. "A drink would be good." He turned his head to give the beauty salon a glare. "No wonder she was so crabby! Can hardly breath in that place!" He shook his head and grumbled some more as he looked for the cafe.

Sakura covered her mouth as she chuckled at Donald. "Okay Donald-san. I think it's down this street." She said pointing to the right as she walked towards the corner. After reaching the corner and turning she spotted the tables and chairs on the sidewalk. "There it is!" She said smiling and grabbing Donald's hand, "Let's go!" She pulled on his hand as she began to run.

Donald started when Sakura suddenly yanked him down to road. He stumbled only a moment beofre getting his thick feet under him. He really did not like being so odd...
"Hey, maybe we should wait until after we get out drinks to ask the employees here if anything has happened. In case they get cranky too..." |

Sakura laughed and nodded. "Alright Donald-san." She said slowly down as they approached the cafe. She walked over to a table sitting in the shade near the building. "I hope they have something good to drink here. And perhaps something to eat." She said as her stomach grumbled.

Donald coughed once more, throat finally clearing as he took his seat. He nodded. "I could use a bite." He said, picking up one of the two small laminated menus held to the table by a fancy clip. "Looks like both food and drink are here." He said, unclipping and handing the other menu to Sakura.

Sakura sat down and nodded to Donald. "I guess all this searching is making us hungry." She said with a giggle. She took the menu from Donald and began browsing it. Hm.... so many things sound good. She sighed as she realized that there was no Japanese food here. She'd have to go find a Japanese restaurant sometime and eat there. "So what are you thinking about getting Donald-san?" |

Donald glanced through the menu. "I feel like getting fish." He said, finally spotting a few aquatic dishes. He frowned at a few that had long complex names, smirking and turning the menu around and upside-down comically with a purposely confused expression, hoping Sakura would giggle again.

Sakura nodded and gazed at the small seafood section. "Not a big selection though." She said missing him turning the menu upside down. She looked up and saw his confused expression and cocked her head. What was wrong? She was about to ask when she noticed the menu upside down. "Silly Donald-san." She said with a giggle, "It must be hard to read the menu when it's upside down." She smiled and then looked back her menu. What should she get?

Donald smiled. There was that giggle he had been hoping for. "Yeah, but it's hard to read rightside up too." He complained slightly, righting his menu. "I suppose I'll get one of those fish dishes. What are you looking at?"
Making his way over slowly, a shaggy-haired waiter covered a yawn with his hand before approaching the table. "Hello, welcome to the Sidewalk Cafe. What can I getcha?" He looked like a high schooler on a summer job, his greeting very unenthusiastic, eyes drooped with boredom. |

Chuckling at Donald, Sakura shook her head. He was so silly. She sighed as she turned her attention back to the menu. There were so many different foods here but nothing she really wanted. "I don't know...." She said spotting something that sounded good, "Maybe this Chicken and Rice Curry Casserole." She looked up when the waiter came over and gave him a friendly smile. "Hello! I'd like a cup of green tea please."

"Chicken and rice... That does sound yummy. I might stick with-" Squinting once more at the menu, Donald turned to squint in turn at the waiter. "I'll have a water with lime, the sunflower seed salad and flounder plate."
The waiter sighed, pulling out his pen and paper since this would be more than he could remember. "Anithin' else for you lady?" He asked, lazy eyes turning back to Sakura. |
