Mycroft watched Eva pick up the wire strippers and quickly scanned over the pod, it for now at least looked to be somewhat stable. The stability of the chamber had been more touch and go then he had told Eva and although it likely would not be much longer a bit of anxiety touched the AI as he considered the next few minutes.

Upon hearing Eva's queary Mycroft looked down to the various cords she held in her hand. "Ah, #0000FF to be precise when it comes to the color or rather. The true blue my dear." A part of him wished that this place had the technology to create him another skin, but he also wondered if it would be worth it. From the readings outside the climate and conditions had only been worsening as of late.

"Once you have them spliced together I'll start the process to wake her up, now it will also likely make the pod unusable. But it already was having problems."After speaking Mycroft wondered some on Eva, he knew the theory behind what the parasites were suppose to actually be. A creature of logic the reality of such a thing was still somewhat past him, but if it was true he wondered what sort of goddess she would make. She was if anything only helpful out of her own interests. Though from reading various text it seemed mankind had created many deities; compassion and caring for the existance of humankind didn't seem to be a nessecity for them. Mycroft pondered on the mentality of such creatures to create gods that did not even care for them. He wondered how many of the parasites cared nothing for the humans that were to be it's worshippers.

Sometimes there really was no hope for the world, A Goddess reduced to such a menial task, gold and blue, strip and splice. Standing slowly she tapped her foot for a second before looking at the shelf besides Mycrofts unit.

I should let you do this.

'I would be happy to, but I would kill Cinder and the Edelsteine she hosts... lighting equals power surge dear. Besides the hologram is being very helpful.'

A disgusted noise almost escaped her as she picked up the helpful wire-cutters/strippers Mycroft had indicated, and turned a sunny look on him. "Wire cutters, check." returning to her position kneeling beside Cinder's coffin like capsule she used extended claws to separate out a gold wire and then found a couple different blue ones.

"Gold wire, check.... Now darlin', which blue one am I supposed to snip, the Aqua, the Navy, or True blue?" Opening and closing the clippers, the Goddess smiled with a saccharin like quality.

Mycroft cleared his throat at the lover comment as any good gentleman would, "now I suggest getting the cutters from the same shelf as my unit is held on." Mycroft turns and gestures over to the shelf motioning to a set of cutters the third shelf up from the bottom. They were silvery in appearance and the gripping along with a few small extra additions gave the impression that they were not just an ordinary bit of wire cutters.

"Out of the wires within the case, you need to cut the blue and the golden colored ones. Once you do your going to strip a bit of the coating from each and splice the wires together. I've cut off power to that section of the pod so you shouldn't get shocked during the process." Mycroft speaks simply his voice informatative with soft underlaying hints of calmness and an almost soothing quality.

The under part of the pod opened had several lights of varying types flickering through it. A bundle of multi colored wires hang from the device as well.

Within the pod Cinder continues to dream her eyelids flickering from time to time.

Following the instructions carefully, Eva moved a delicate hand to stroke the life keeping little device. And looked back at the oddly transparent and fashion savvy gentleman.

"Remove the lid and slice connections as you instruct. Can't be too hard." Exhaling dramatically she smirked adding; "I'm sure whatever she's dreaming about is better than the reality."

Grasping the door with her left hand she hefted and slid it out of place looking in at the series of cables and relays.

"Alright lover, what next?"

A few moments after Eva had hit the button on Mycroft's hologram simulator, an image flickered before appearing in the room. It was the same image of an older gentleman, although now he is no long in the smoking jacket but a suit of what would be obviously expensive design, if it were real. Brushing an imaginary bit of lint off of the lapel of his jacket his dark grey eyes focused on Eva. "My yes mi'lady it was wonderful." Taking steps forward he gestured to a screen on the side of the capsule, "Empiral common, Cinder's old ship was taken from an old miliatary ship. You likely aren't familiar but the various charts and lines tell us her heart rate and other useful bits of information. She is very much alive just sleeping...a bit like hybernation really."

Adjusting his jacket slightly the form of Mycroft bent down to get a look over the bottom of the pod. The AI appeared to scan the area in a very human way before motioning to Eva, "Now mi'lady I'll go over a bit of what you are going to need to do." Mycroft waits for Eva to hunch down as instructed before motioning to a door along the side of the pod, "That needs to be taken off, and once it is off I'll instruct you on how to splice the needed wires."

Mycroft looked up as if watching the pod that Cinder was suspended in, "she could live for quite sometime in there...but a stasis chamber isn't really life when one thinks on it. Just a reality of dreams...I wonder what it is she has been dreaming of for so long."

Arching a pyrite flecked violet brow the goddess drawled, "Well darlin', I usually ask for drinks and dinner before I go pushin' some strange guys buttons... but since you are SUCH a charmer."

Moving around to the foot of the capsule Eva took a moment to look at the frost covered glass lid before counting in, and pressing the correct button on Mycrofts main unit.

"So.... was it good for you?"

Reaching to her mp3 player, she turned off the obscenely cheerful music and leaned forward using her hand to clear some of the fog from the frosted surface. "Are you sure Cinder's still alive?" Her tone had lost its playful accent and now had faintly concerned overtones.

Mycroft had already started the sequencing that would allow Cinder to wake up. The center of the room was filled with a capsule with a clear top; the top was frosted over but that was quickly thawing as the machines started reacting to Mycroft's demands.

What is seen of Cinder from the outside is that of someone in deep rest, occasionally her eyelids twitched as if she was caught in some deep dream.

"Now most of this I can do myself. However, there has been a short of sorts along the cooling generators, specifically the sections that allow for the cycling when it comes to opening the pod. So I need you to move down to the bottom of the capsule." There was a brief pause and the impression that the AI was in fact somewhat put out by having to go about things in such a manner. "The machine on the shelf to your right, it is now blinking various green lights. That's my holoprojector if you would be so kind as to push the third button in from the right on top of it I'll be able to show you what to do in a more hands on manner."

A shelf to the right held various tools and books, on the very top was indeed a small silver machine. Lights flashed over the top of the mechanism and quite a bit of buttons were over the top of it.

Heaving a great sigh, Eva lingered over the last half of her cigarette, finally stamping it out on the bottom of her boot and carelessly tossing the butt in the kitchen sink before heading to the back of the house.

Singing along with her mp3 player which now dangled forgotten around her neck slightly off key with Cyndi Lauper, "I come home in the morning light, My mother says "When you gonna live your life right?" Oh,mother, dear, We're not the fortunate ones, And girls, They wanna have fu-un. Oh,girls, Just wanna have fun...."

Trailing off she pushed into the back room that was slightly separated and filled with who knew what kind of computers and blipping lights.

"Something tells me this isn't going to be as easy as I thought."

Mycroft appeared calm upon the screen at her words. He wasn't particularly worried as he hadn't been insulting her directly; she was a parasite after all - and a small part of him found it amusing or as amusing as his program allowed how she reacted to being called such. So upset over a few words...words of truth.

"Yes the gem is a parasitic life form, it lives off of another being for suvival and in this case eventually kills it." He turned his pipe and tapped out the bit of ash within, "a parasite no matter what it eventually grows into." He was less worried that she would refuse to help as the parasites seemed to all have a need and want for others of their kind to grow and thrive.

As Eva asked for where Cinder was Mycroft stood and in a rather courtly gesture motioned her to the back of the house, "my main unit is there, I'll be able to give you more instructions once you reach the area." After speaking Mycroft offered a slight bow and then the television slowly went dark as he turned the device off.

Calmly regarding the form on the televisions screen, Evadne drew a long slow pull off her dark colored cigarette, and sat in silence as the blue plume trailed around her giving the shadows life and her wings the illusion of movement.

"Parasite?" The question was said in an accent free tone, half purr. "You would be speaking of the little one, that my host and I, assisted in implanting in Cinderfae's hip." The second half wasn't a question.

No sane or rational living being would ask for aid and then insult the person they were asking, but then, computers had little care whether or not they insulted, or even recognized an insult when delivered.

It wasn't worth arguing.

Especially since he - if you could call it, Mycroft, a he - was making the effort to flatter.

"As I understand it, the little one was never permitted to awaken, or else we would have a name for it. While that answers most of my questions, and resolves my reason for coming... It also adds to the dilemma."

She sighed and drawing on her clove again looked at Mycroft. "My name is Evadne. Where can I find.... Cinderfae's Stasis... Chamber?"

"Ah, a woman of action. I was always fond of that." Mycroft stayed in his seat as he spoke appearing calm. "Cinder is still here but she will need your help," Mycroft sighed to himself. "As will the parasite within her, I'm sure you care about it's well being." The tone of annoyance was heard in his voice as he spoke, likely over the whole parasite issue. Mycroft stands and straightens his smoking jacket; things were dire but he still took time for somethings after all in some life or programming he was British.

"Cinder's cybernetics have started to shutdown, and in an attempt to slow the process Cinder found a bit of her ship's technology." Mycroft didn't go into details as well it was needed for the parasite at thise moment. "Now the downgrading was becoming more prominent then I had imagined so when Cinder went to rest she started to shut down...completely." Mycroft turns as he speaks his expression serious as if attempting to portray the seriousness to his audience; if he had been a human he would have made a wonderful actor. "Not having a physical body myself I did all I was able to at the time. I use the capsule as it should be, I put her in stasis, and that is where she has been for a year...give or take a few days."

Mycroft lets a sigh out, "I could leave her there indefinantily, but Cinder should be awoken. Even if I don't agree with her choices." There was more then slight disgruntleness in his voice as he spoke. "Basically I will need to talk you through the correct motions so she can be awoken. Cinder as well as the parasite." He was sure to remind the beinging that not only Cinder was in stasis for the moment.

The Goddess came to an abrupt halt. Opal eyes still so much like Trivii's flicked around the room as Eva made a slow about face, gracefully retracing her stride to observe the genteel appearance in the television set.

Staring blankly she failed to recognize the servant from his scant earlier brief interaction with Cinderfae.

Don't ask me, this is knew territory.

Striding forward, Eva pulled her earbuds out so she could hear the delicate classical strains of strings and woodwinds. She lowered her pyrite flecked body carefully perching on the edge of an ottoman. The crystalline wings coming from her back only partially displayed.

In an unconscious reaction to Mycrofts pipe smoking, withdrew a clove from its case and lit it casually. Enjoying the subtle spicy flavored tobacco, Eva exhaled a plume of blue smoke and smiled coolly. "Don't worry about tea, I came to check on Cinderfae, if what you need, happens to explain her absents, I might be persuaded to help you."

From the backroom of the little house the machines continued to work. But among them wasn't just a normal machine but an AI as well. Mycroft's lights flickered slightly as he registered another presence in the house. A quick scan of the area gave him a faint feeling of recognation. Mycroft highly suspected to himself that it was likely one of those parasites.

Running a few scans he assured himself that Cinder was in fact still in one piece within the capsule only after that did he decided to attempt to contact the house guest. Searching through the various mechanics and devices within the house he finally found an opening within the television a small part of him cringed as he made the nessecary adjustments; reduced to using such primative technology.

The television in the living room flickered on after a moment, instead of a program or the news running an elderly gentleman in a smoking jacket sat in a rather posh chair. If he was going to be reduced to such things he may as well do it with style.
Upon seeing the visitor nothing overly clicked as to whom she was but she did indeed look like one of the parasite infected; he decided he would leave that little bit out as he would need her to awaken Cinder.

The image on the television takes a smoke from an antique looking pipe and rests back in it's chair. "Ah, hello there. Mighty fine to see someone finally wander here. Also very good luck. Would you have a moment then ma'am to perhaps listen to what I have to say and aid me. I would be most grateful." Parasite or not never hurts to be polite. "I'd offer a bit of tea but it seems I don't have the means to make any." The image offers an apologetic smile.

Strolling idly Eva listened happily to the heavy drums and rhythms coming from her mp3 player as she started up the walk to the little house. She hadn't been there in over a year, but after having attached the little stone to its occupant, it was probably time for a check up.

If luck held she wouldn't have to socialize with the host so much as the God that was taking her place.

Pausing outside the door on the porch, Eva studied the place. It looked abandoned, maybe this God was as much of a nomad as she was. Her lips curled in an almost derisive yet pleased expression, as she lifted a hand and knocked on the door.

Waiting a moment, the Goddess knocked again harder, then with little care for propriety pushed the door open.

The audacity of the thing, leaving her waiting on the porch.

'Yes dear. How dare they not be expecting you, when you so courteously didn't call so they would be expecting you.

Be silent.

I don't think so, not as long as I have any control over myself.

Ignoring her host, Eva prowled the interior. "Hello? Is there anyone home? No? Then I'll just be..." Looking around the kitchen Evadne stopped. This is weird.

The small house stood silently over the lake; the lights had been lowered in it and with the chaos of existance at this time it laid forgotten. But if one were to get close to the house they would hear music from within the sound of Mozart, Beethovan, or Chopin. Within the living room and attached kitchen area looked normal enough even if they had become a bit dust covered. Though moving back through the house toward the music soon the sound of a machine would be heard a hypnotic sound as a generator spun and churned creating power.

At the end of the hall the sound of the generator is most pronounced and several lines of power move into the room. Within a great machine sits, the generator still sounds and a capsule with a clear front sits frosted over. The sound of classical music is most high here. Lights blink over the various surfaces and for a moment it almost feels as if the machines are watching and waiting.
