Devi couldn't help but put his ears back at the shrieking laughter, but smiled anyway. If it kept her from crying he didn't mind. He kept making the growl noises and having the plushie attack it's owner on the nose repeated or bouncing around on her tummy.

"You'd better be thankful. Then again I was the one who forgot how strong he was and stood behind him. Knocked me clear off my feet and still a baby." She beamed with pride. Devi had spunk from day one. Even if it did tend to lead to dents in the wall.

"Well, hopefully I won't have that problem," he said, leaning back on the couch and happily watching the pair playing on the other sofa. "If i can just get her past the nighttime screaming, we'll be fine. If she wants to sleep during the day for a while, I won't mind. Hell, Raven and Kendall didn't get on a regular sleep schedule for months."

"I know how that can get. Devi had two modes, off and hyper. You could not keep teh bugger still! And then he'd fall over. It was fairly cute but a bit odd. Sometimes he'd even fall asleep on his feet which was just funny."

"MUMM!"

"I'm sorry, did you hear that?" Drac feined shock and Devi just shook his head, returning to his plushie wrestling league with Omi.

The play seemed to slow down u ntil Nozomi yawned once more and nestled into Devi's arms. Her eyes had slipped closed a bit before that, but she'd still been playing. Now, however, she seemed to be dozing peacefully alongside the centaur.

Youko had to fight the urge to 'd'awwww' at them both, but figured that having hoofmarks on his sofa wasn't a good thing. Instead, he just grinned, part of him wondering where he'd put the camera.

Devi looked down, a bit confused until he realized she'd actually fallen asleep. He didn't quite know what to do about that. He settled on letting her toy rest on her tummy and humming softly, something he'd picked up from his mum.

Drac smiled and gently elbowed Youko, pointing to a camera at the bottom of the basket and winking.

That's all it took. Youko moved as silently and stealthily as a fox could, palming the camera and flicking on the flash on. Quickly, he brought it up, aiming and letting the picture snap before either child was aware of what was going on. "That one's for posterity..."

It was a good thin Devi wasn't bipedal or he probably would have fallen right off the couch in shock. "Whatcha do that for?" His voice was quietly indignant. He didn't want to wake up Omi if he could.

Drac was making some rather odd noises from the couch in an effort to supress her laughter.

"So that I could preserve the moment," Youko replied innocently, flashing the boy a grin. "After all, this is the first time she's had company over at the house and I thought it would be good for her to remember it by when she's older." That, and they were cuter than sin like that, but Youko didn't want to wind up with a matching hoofprint.

"Oh, ok then. I guess that's alright." He turned his attention back to Omi. SHe was pretty cute while she was sleeping. Maybe he'd have to raid the nests back home and see if he couldn't get her a pet.

Drac sat back and chuckled, tugging on Youko's sleeve for a moment and whispering. "I get a copy of that, agreed?"

Nodding vigorously, Youko just snickered softly and curled up near Drac as they watched the pair. Oh yes, this was going to be an adventure. Her two 'best friends' right now were a dragon girl and a centaur. And it hadn't even been a week yet. "I believe I will be living in interesting times," he said faintly, giving the pair a fond look.

"Like you haven't been?" Drac chuckled and ruffled Youko's hair. The duo was rather cute.

Devi was starting to get sleepy. It had been a long day and Omi snoozing in his arms was not helping. Yawning a bit he maneuvered his front legs a bit to create a sort of cradle. He curled into the sofa and carefully held onto Omi as he nodded off.

"Now that is just too precious," Youko whispered, not wanting to disturb Omi or Devi. He couldn't help grinning, however, and waited a few minutes to make SURE Devi was asleep before he snapped another picture.

Drac giggled again. "We are going to have so much blackmail material when they grow, aren't we?" She couldn't help but smile. That was just too precious.

"So, what should we do about the two of them? They seem to peaceful to disturb."

Nodding, Youko had to agree. "Devi can stay here tonight if you like. He's not bothering anyone, and I have an extra blanket I can put over him. I dont' want to disturb them, because Nozomi wakes up shrieking when she's startled."

"Ok then. I don't have a problem with that if you don't mind having him. Just make sure it's light out when he walks home, ok" SMling she padded over and gave her son a quick peck on the forehead and smoothed his hair back, drawing a sleepy mumble.

"I guess I should head home then. I've got four very pregnant Aiko at home who are not happy. Maybe there'll be one we can give to Nozomi."
