Youko's beginnings and youth are pretty much up in the air. What that means is that he doesn't remember them, either. When Youko first came to Gaia, it was with a chip on his shoulder and an innate distrust of everything and everyone. No one's quite sure WHY he was that way, and he's not talking.

It took a rather quiet and caring soul... Envy Fairchylde, to get through the fox's shell, finally coaxing him out and began to teach him how to be relatively human. After he started letting others near, he met Karma and the others who quickly became friends. This was when Youko's protective streak showed through, and it became apparent that he wouldn't stand for his friends being stepped on.

On Halloween night in 2009, Youko became a victim of an orchestrated plot against Fa'e guardians by Chaos. He did not survive the attack.

Taka and Kia - Omi's parents.

These two Fa'e have been nearly inseperable for most of their lives and became the proud parents of twin girls. I was lucky enough to be given guardianship of Nozomi by them.

Tiegan - Omi's twin sister.

The younger of the two, Tiegan is completely human. She is an adorable little girl, and I hope she and Omi become good friends as they grow older.

Raven is a live wire in every sense of the term. Her only truly calm moments seem to be when she's reading or asleep... otherwise, she's off and running, usually with her brother alongside. While she and Kendall seem to hate each other, they're just acting like normal siblings, and are at times violently protective of each other. Raven's the one more likely to go off in a temper fit, and she has apparently the shortest fuse in the family.

After the untimely death of Youko, Raven has bonded with Omi, becoming her guardian.

Yeande remembers little about who or what she was before. She remembers Talonfaust, and is still very close to him. She enjoys spending time outside, especially if she can be in the yard working in the numerous flowerbeds and garden areas that she's scattered around Youko's property. She is a good role model for Nozomi, who loves following her around and 'helping' with the yard.

Devmani - Omi's first and closest friend, the centaur Fa'e remains one of her favourite people. While a relationship didn't work out, she still considers him a friend.

Anen - While she doesn't yet know much about Anen, he helped Omi find Devmani when he was missing, and she views him very highly because of this.

Arkanti - The MAIN reason why Omi is convinced she's never going to have kids. After a recent DnD game, though, she's learned that he IS tolerable... and when in doubt, she can use her powers to shut him up.

Raeith - Raeith has always treated Omi well and loves to play with her. Omi likes the golden kirin Fa'e and especially loves the 'jinglies' that Raeith always wears.

Hoshi - Gave Omi the star mark on her chest... and another star to keep for herself. While he seems always happy, Omi can't help but think he's sad.

Sati - A new acquaintance, Sati seems to be someone that Omi can look up to. She likes to spar with Sati, and admires her greatly.

Riven - When she first met this Fa'e, Omi was afraid of him. Age has brought with it a bit of understanding of the Spirit Keeper, and Omi respects his opinions very much. He has become a sort of mentor to the young Fa'e.

Callix - Omi first met this little guy on her way back from Riven's place, and came to realise that not all babies were horrid, foul, smelly things. She was actually intrigued by the boy and looks forward to seeing him again.

Silver - Once a friend, Omi has never really forgiven him for kidnapping Devmani and putting him at risk. Even if it WAS only an attempt to get them together.

Lucien - She has only met this Fa'e once and thought he was okay the first time. However, after finding Devmani unconscious and poisoned, with Lucien's stinger embedded in his shoulder, she's vowed to get even... and would likely kill the younger Fa'e if not stopped.

• 02-14-05: Nozomi is born to Kia and Taka! Youkochylde is appointed Guardian.
  
• 02-17-05: First sleepover! Sort of.. Devmani falls asleep while visiting and just stays for the night.
  
• 02-18-05: Her first party! Nozomi and I attended the 2nd Anniversary Gaia Ball.
  
• 03-15-05: Nozomi has grown to a lovely little toddler!
  
• 04-28-05: My little baby is now walking and talking!
  
• 05-05-05: Nozomi vanishes! She leaves with Anen to go find Devmani.
  
• 05-09-05: Nozomi begins sword lessons with Astaroth... gods help us all.
  
• 05-20-05: Another growing! Omi is a beautiful child.
  
• 07-31-05: First lesson with Astaroth, much to Youko's chagrin.
  
• 09-04-05: Nozomi has reached teen stage... and has developed some new tendencies.
  
• 10-27-05: Nozomi returns home after assisting Riven on a journey to the Spirit Realm. Nozomi came back much stronger... and Riven came back as an adult!
  
• 10-31-09: Youko is killed in an attack by Chaos. Omi is left without a guardian, until her sister Raven steps up to take his place.
