FA'E: Kia's Diary (Neith-Kia is Guardian)

[Konaruuu]

Taka's eyes widened, the grin disappearing from his face. "Wh..wh..wha.." He stuttered, almost dropping Kia, but remembering to hold onto her. "What the?!" He tried to keep his voice down as he flew backwards and desperately looked around, but it was still a bit of a shriek. "Who, huh, whaa.."

[Neith-Kia]

"Arella!" Kia flopped in his arms, laughing, as she prodded more at his skin with her fingertips.

The paintbrush dropped to the ground beneath him, and the giggling quietened down. But only moments later, a cushion on the couch squashed down, as if someone had sat on it. And the couch sagged inwards slightly, in the way it would have if Taka had sat there.
A cushion raised from the couch, and went flying at Taka's feet.

Taka was still wide-eyed, as he tried to keep a hold on the wiggling Kia, and try to figure out what the heck just happened, as well. "..umm.." He peered a bit nervously down at the couch where the cushion had just flown from.

"...am I seeing things, or something?" His voice was a bit squeaky and fearful. This definitely wasn't the shadow..there was a different feeling to the air..

What WAS it?

The imprint on the couch shifted slightly, and then popped back up to the normal couch shape. And then, a second paintbrush rose up from the ground, this one still clean. More giggles came from the direction of the paintbrush, and very briefly, a girl with wings shimmered into veiw, and then out again before one could get a clear look at her.

Kia patted at Taka's arms. "Arella."

Taka's eyes were wide as he stared. "..erhm...uh..is your house haunted?" He peered over at Kia, still stuttering a bit. He HAD to be seeing things..had to..because it wasn't the shadow..and the feeling of the air wasn't creepy, like it would be if there was some evil ghost.

[Neith-Kia]

Kia just strugged, and started to draw on Taka's arm with her pink crayon. "ArellaTaka." She looked up, smiled at the spot where the girl had been, and held out her arms to it in her 'Pick me up!" guesture.

The cushion that had hit Taka's feet lifted beneath him, and then, something started to tickle his ankles.

[Konaruuu]

"GRAH~!" Accidentally dropping Kia, Taka flew back into the air, eyes wide once again. "wh-what.."

Wait. He had to calm down. He had to calm down, figure out what was going on. If..he didn't calm down, then..

Suddenly, a wind started to blow again. A chilling wind.

"..uh oh, again." That was one thing he had to remember..if he ever freaked out..then the shadow came..for whatever reason.

((Taka won't be able to see her still. Kia will be moving around by herself to him. xd But he will be able to see the feather.))
Kia felt herself drop for only a split second, but the moment she got close to the ground, the strong arms of the girl she could see as plain as day grabbed at her, and glared upwards at Taka.

The glare only lasted a moment, before Arella noticed the wind as well. Her glare turned to a fearful look, and with her straining arms, she placed Kia carefully on the cushion beneath Taka.

Kia waved to Arella, who had ducked into the storage cubboard again, through the semi-open door. One of the feathers off her wings fell loose, and gently floated to the ground in front of the cubboard. Then she looked upwards, calling, "Takabaseen", while trying to make the peace sign.

Taka's expression was rather fearful, as well as confused when he noticed Kia 'moving', and then noticed the feather. But, most of all, his mind was on the striking lightening as the shadow started to appear. Except..like that one time..the shadow seemed to be partly..visible. With an almost corpeal form..but also, shadow-like, as well.

The wind just continued to blow, the shadow girl not saying a word as she seemed to glare at Kia and the cupboard. Finally, a voice echoed with the roaring wind.

Where's your little friend, Kia? Hmm?

[Neith-Kia]

Kia ignored the voice, and held her hands up at Taka, making loud noises at him. She turned to the shadow, stared at it for a few seconds, then returned her gaze to Taka above her. "Takabasseeen."

The cubboard flew open, a hard toy flew at the shadow and Arella half ran, half flew out of the room, towards the stairs upstairs.

Managing to take his gaze away from the shadow, Taka flapped his wings to fly back down to the ground, and picked up Kia. "You're such a little baby, shorty." He laughed a bit, before peering back at the shadow.

The toy seemed to go through the shadow..because, well, she's a shadow. Not a physical body..she only seemed to have an appearance, although Taka wasn't sure why she seemed to look almost corpeal.

You're a pitiful little girl, you know that?

The voice seemed to be directed at Arella.

Kia dropped the crayon, content with her work on him, and just clung. That shadow scared her now, and Taka scared the shadow. He was better than her hiding spot, so Kia clung to an arm lightly, while making noises at the shadow.

No answer from outside. Arella stayed hiding, clutching to her knees underneath the staircase.

[Konaruuu]

Hah. The two little girls are scared. How..amusing..

The wind started to speed up, lightening striking the ground.

"No one's going to fight you, shadow." Taka held Kia tightly, turning to glare at the shadow. "You came here for a fight, didn't you? Well, we can't fight you."

The shadow seemed to growl a little, but the wind stopped.

Just wait until the final battle.

It came as a quiet, angry mumble, but the shadow didn't disappear this time. She just floated over to a corner and stayed there, glaring at Kia.

[Neith-Kia]

Kia poked at Taka's face with a hand, and tried to make the peace sign with it. She ignored the glare of the shadow, trying to pretend it wasn't there. But she glanced at it, then at Taka, trying to figure them both out.
Her eyes lit up suddanly, and she started to point at the TV at the end of the room. "Takabaka!"

[Konaruuu]

"..eh? TV?" Taka blinked at Kia, peering over at the TV. "What about it?" He blinked again, also twisting his head to look at the shadow every so often. Even though it was seeming to be calm right now..he didn't trust it. Not at all..

The shadow just continued to glare..and glare..and glare..aaand glare.
