Welcome to Gaia! ::

Kia patted at Taka once more, before twisting her head at the shadow, making tiny little growls of her own... so low, that Kia could only really hear them.
She stopped when Taka stopped talking, her attention focused on the mist and the lightning, one hand reaching up to feel at it. Kia wasnt' scared behind this mist, it calmed her.

When the mist vanished, Kia's eyes widened, she snapped out of the gaze at the mist, and peered around the empty room for shadows, round balls of light, lightning or voices.
With a tiny grin on his face, Taka plopped to the ground, setting Kia down on the floor in front of him. "Shadow is gone now, it's all safe." He blinked a few times, and then grinned a bit more.

Maybe I really can save the world..I made the shadow leave..so..

His grin started to widen as he pondered this. Maybe he WAS born to save the world, after all!
Kia looked around a bit more, while she reached behind her to where a crayon had fallen. True, it was soggy ... having fallen onto, and tipped over a drink, but ...

"Takabaka." She prodded at his forehead with the soggy crayon, smearing red on his skin.
Taka scrunched up his face a little as he was drawn on..AGAIN.

"..You're stubborn, aren't you?" He tried to hide a little giggle, snatching the crayon right from her hand. "Weeell, come get it!" A wide grin covered his face as he jumped up, and skipped back a few steps. "C'mon! Geeet your crayon, shorty!" He tried to hide another giggle as he taunted her.
Kia tried pouting, but the pout just vanished into a giant smile... as she just pulled out a second crayon from behind her. A pink one.

"Takabaka." She started to slowly crawl towards him, the crayon smooshing all over her hand and the floor as she followed his steps slowly in her version of a crawl.
Taka's grin widened again, and he tried to hide yet another giggle as he flapped his wings and zoomed into the air..being careful to dodge the ceiling, of course.

"What now, shortshortshorty?" He stuck his tongue out at her, waving the crayon around in the air.
Kia stared up at him. Then turned on the waterworks, like any toddler knew how to do.
She made her lip tremble, her eyes water, and started to let out little wails, as she reached upwards at him. "Taakaabaseeeen."
"Errh.." Taka's grin turned into a tiny frown. "..oi, don't cry!" Still clutching the crayon, he flapped his wings and landed back on the ground, plopping down beside her, still frowning a bit. "Don't cryyyyy.." He peered at the crayon in his hand, and then put it down on the floor. "See, there's your crayon! No crying needed.."
Kia opened one eye fully, grabbed at the crayon with one hand, and drew a long pink dot on his nose with the other. "Takabaka!" All trace of tears, or unhappy toddler vanished, as she let out a giant smile and giggles, starting her wobbling crawl towards her hiding spot under the couch.
A playful pout covered Taka's face. "Hey, no fair!" He flapped his wings and flew up and grabbed some paint from his bag, and then plopped down in front of Kia. With a grin appearing, he smudged the paint on her face. "Hah!"

{..Brb. Soda break. o.o}
Kia clapped her hands... then realised there was something bright and very paint-like on her face.

She sniffed, and let some tears fall. Kia waited a few moments, stopped the tears, peered at him, then tried it again, with more tears, and a little more noise.

Again, when nothing happened, Kia opened one eye to stare at him, while using a hand to rub at the paint, and to flick it in his direction.
"Not this time, shorty!" Taka burst into giggles and picked her up, flapping his wings to fly into the sky again. With a spare hand, he smudged more paint onto her face, grinning.

He was having a lot of fun, he noticed. Fun that he hadn't had in..years. And he liked it..this fun. The fun he hadn't been able to have for such a long time..

Playing with the little toddler seemed to clear his mind from the horrors that were happening. Seemed to clear his mind, to allow him to have..

Fun.
Giggling as well, Kia just smeared her pink covered hand in his hair, then clapped her hands at the result of purple and pink. "Petty."

She stared at his wings, and then at his hair, before trying to smear the pink on his ears as well.

From behind Taka, a paintbrush started to float up by itself in the air, dripping with bright yellow, slowly, as if trying to float up as quietly as possible...
"What, am I supposed to be a pink Captain Planet, huh?" Taka smudged more paint on her face, laughing as he thought of how silly he must look, with all this paint on him. He didn't ever notice the floating paintbrush..although he -did- have a weird feeling about..something..
Kia nodded, her eyes locked on something behind him. "Arella!"

The paintbrush started to jiggle over Taka's head, sending little raindrops of paint over both of their heads. And even then, a quiet giggle could be heard from behind Taka, as the paintbrush dropped and suddantly drew a quick giant loveheart on Taka's back.
