Welcome to Gaia! ::

Grabbing some more paint, Taka shoved it into Kia's face, grinning. "Who's got who now, huuuuh?" He laughed, before a chilling wind filled the air.

..no, no, it's not her..

A shadow seemed to standing in the corner, a black aura surrounding it.

What do you think you're doing, little girl?

Kia giggled loudly as she was plastered with more paint, finding all of this amazing fun! She had to try it with Neith sometime! She placed another orange splotch on Taka's cheek... Then froze as she heard the voice.
Kia stared around her, her eyes going wide. "Takabaseentakabaseen..."
An almost fearful look covered Taka's face, and he grabbed the little girl to hold her close, just to make sure there was no chance of her being injured. He wouldn't let that shadow hurt another person just because he was talking to them.

I don't believe I said you could talk to MY Taka..

The wind seemed to roar as the voice echoed through the air, a seething, loathing, vengeful tone to it.

Kia threw a crayon into the air, only to get bonked on the head by it when it fell back down again. Her eyes filled with tears, and her bottem lip trembled, as she started to yell at the voice with as much volume as she could raise. Without realising it, she'd started to curse the voice in Egyptian, babbling word after word of anything that came to her. Kia didn't even notice, too busy trying to tell it off.
The wind seemed to quicken, strikes of lightening slamming to the ground.

Shut up. I want you to stay away from Taka. Now. You'll regret it, you nonsense-babbling baby!

Taka started to scoot back a bit, still holding onto Kia. "Ermmh, little Kia, I don't think that's helping.." He winced as lightening struck in front of him, barely missing them.

Do you HEAR me, little girl?!
((haha. How appropiate. Her first word was Taka, her second was no. xd ))

Kia's eyes widened at the lightening bolt, and she went quiet and still for a few seconds, before trying to wriggle away from Taka for the couch's safe and low bottem. "Takabasseentakabaseenmrraah!"

Again she looked up at the lightening, tears rolling down her cheeks as she throw another crayon in the air. "NO!"
Taka's eyes widened as he watched Kia wriggle away. "Wait! Come back! You'll get hu-"

At that second, the shadow tossed a glowing orb, a red glowing orb, towards the yelling baby.

You WILL listen to me!!
((Meh. Basically, she thinks it's the eye of the god she worshiped as Kia and Neith. O_O ))

Kia froze where she was, her eyes widening as she stared up at the red orb that approcahed her. But instead of looking scared, she reached for it, her monotone voice speaking out loud in a thick accent. "Kiya go home..."
The orb stopped where it was, the wind and lightening stopping as well. The shadow seemed to take a small step towards Kia, speaking in an almost..shocked tone.

...You don't give up, do you? You're a little girl, who could be burnt in one second..but you don't give up, you..you creature, you.

Taka just stared, slumped to the ground, completely baffled. What was going on?
Kia reached at the orb more, muttering words at it.
But within seconds she blinked, let her arms fall to her sides and sat down where she was, the confusion and fear from before returning to her eyes. She looked around, and reached for Taka with tears in her eyes, calling, "Takabaseentakamurrr."
Perking up from his confusion a bit, Taka rushed over to Kia, picking her up quickly before stumbling back to his hiding corner. "Mmph, it's okay, I won't let her hurt you. After all, I'm Captain Planet!" He grinned, before turning his gaze fearfully back to the shadow.

At least..I hope I'll be able to protect her..

He did remember that one time when the shadow didn't even care..and she had attacked him, as well.

The wind started to blow again, just softly, the orb levitating in spot. Almost as if the shadow wasn't sure what to do next..
Kia clung to Taka's arm, her head twisting around fearfully, as she answered him with sounds and words that only she understood. She soon calmed down, distracted by her gold hands on his purple skin, still muttering quietly.
{Ooh..*cackles*}

Taka stood up, slowly, and still clutching onto the little girl. Some sort of..mist seemed to be forming at his feet, as his eyes narrowed at the shadow. "Listen here, Kapu." His voice seemed..different. More serious, even a tid older, almost. There was a bit of a growl as he spoke, without any hesitation. "Kapu, or whoever you are. You who have been torturing me, and taunting everyone I care about." This definitely wasn't Taka's voice..or words he knew. Yet, there was something about it..that was also Taka.

"You're going to leave them alone NOW." He said the last word a bit harshly, almost in a threatening tone. The mist started to rise, higher, and higher. One corner of it formed into a cloud, and began to puff up to Kia, just floating around her, in a mist-form.

Lightening had stopped, and the wind softened to almost nothing. The shadow was..in pure shock, obviously. But..the question was, why was this shadow so shocked? Was it because of the words Kia had said? Maybe the way Taka was acting? Or..could it be a mixture of both?
Kia blinked as she was lifted with no problem by the older boy, her eyes locked on his face. She wasn't sure if this new side was scary or not, and so she just stared at him as he told off the other.

She was distracted by the mist, waving her hands around in it lightly as it rose around her. She twisted her head around, searching for the thing that made the lightening. "Takabaseennomrr."

Not seeing it, Kia let herself smile a shadow of a smile, patting at Taka's face with one of her hands.
Taka twisted his head just a little, peering over at Kia once again. He just seemed to stare at her, before a tiny smile perked up. "Takabaseen is going to make sure that the shadow is no more, okay?" This was his voice again. Calm, warming, the normal Taka voice.

Then, he jerked his head to glare at the growling shadow. "I said leave. You're not going to hurt my friend." His eyes almost seemed to spark with slight anger. "In fact.." A soft growl started to grow in his throat, as well. "You're not going to hurt ANY of my friends."

This was the mature voice again. The angry, older voice. Yet, it still had some of Taka in it..

The mist continued to rise, almost covering the two. It was almost like..a small shield of some sort..because when lightening tried to strike them, the mist covered the lightening strike and..swallowed it?

Taka just continued to glare at the shadow, making no movements. "I said you're not going to hurt my friends."

..So..you think you're a tough guy, huh?

The shadow wasn't growling anymore, just echoing through the room in a quieter, yet still angry, voice.

You want to protect this girl? Fine. But, don't think I've given up. I'll be back.

And with that, the shadow was gone, along with the wind, and also along with the mist that had formed. It just seemed to..disappear, as well.
