QUEST TIME!

Kia is growing fast and there are already a few locks of curly brown hair on her head. But to really grow up inot a toddler you need to put Kia more in touch with her egyptian past. Get Kia 5 things that would remind her of Egypt and/or are golden to help her grow up!

[Konaruuu]

A wolflike creature carefully pads the ground below him, giving out a snort.

Dunno why -I- was sent to do this..

He shakes his head, and drops a plushie next to the door of the house, before rushing off into the distance. The plushie seemed..golden..and very EGYPTIAN-like..

I found a picture in an online reference. They were the bracelets for Queen Hetep. I though Kia might like them. So, I replicated them. Had I taken a bigger picture of my replicas, you would see more detail. Anyway, this is to help in your quest. Again, the metal is enchanted, so that they may grow with Kia and she will always be able to wear them.

Neith wandered up to a shelf with a full bag of items, and Kia in a sling around her front. She showed Kia each one, before putting it up.

"Golden Bracelets with Dragonflies on them..." Neith stuck two bracelets carefully near the edge, where the light reflected off them. "So old, that the gold has darkened and lost the glint it one had... Lenore's a genius."
Kia blinked, and grabbed upwards at the bracelets, making Neith smile. Neith picked them up, and placed them around each of Kia's wrists. "All right... But don't loose them!"

Next to the edge of the shelf, she put another thing, a gold plushie that looked upward out of the window near the shelf. "A present from Konaru... and such a cute one!"
Kia stared at it, one edge of a bracelet in her mouth already.

Beside that plushie, she put a second one, one that was darker in gold. "And a plushie I got myself... A very special plushie."

Neith wandered over to the wall over Kia's crib, placed Kia into the crib, and hung a picture over the bed. "Look, darling... I painted you a picture."

Finally, she placed a soft plushie of a pyramid next to Kia. "And something to prehaps remind you of your origins..."

[RAVESTARR]

~Walks up top the top stair with a huge bag of plushies oh her back and places a small plushie on the step~ I feel like Santa right now . . ..

[Vashtya]

Vashtya tip-toed up to the door, chuckling slightly to herself and feeling a little bit like a thief, skulking about. She smiled slightly, and placed a small plushie on the front doorstep, with a small note laid underneath it, which read:

[Neith-Kia]

March, 6th

I'm sorry for not writing earlier about this... but it's been a busy day for us.
I woke up late this morning, being able to sleep in for once... And saw that Kia's blanket was slightly up more. I figured that it must have been a soft toy that she'd dragged in, and got up to remove the toy. When I lifted the blanket, a larger Kia flashed a giant smile at me, nearly causing me to fall over from shock.
Kia's the size of a toddler! And that's not all, markings have started to appear on her hands, her feet have gone gold and have markings, there's a line coming off those dark marks around her eyes, gold on her eyelids, and she has pierced ears.
I picked her up, put her on the bed where she promptly tried to wriggle away, and started to pick up thrown toys from around the crib.
Underneath the crib, the wood had... for lack of a better word... risen. I found a marking under there, that I'm sure was not there when I moved in. So I'm a little scared of it. I tried to sand it away, but it's as hard as stone...

I've also been finding gifts on the doorstep. Bracelets from Lenore, a plushie from... Konaru, I'm guessing, a green Domo plushie from Ravestarr, Vash gave Kia a pyramid, and Syrenrei gave me a -insert word- because I'm stupid and I don't know what it is. xd -
I'm getting the feeling that they knew about this before I did...
Kia's sitting in my lap now with a crayon in her hand, so excuse the decoration around this as well. I never let her have crayons when she was a baby, I was scared they'd become her stable sorce of food. But she's lost interest in chewing on things, now, she pulls them apart. (I'm glad that I can sew.)

Kia's also been to the HQ. And having trouble with words still. Only Sati saw her, so perhaps when she's exposed to more toddler-talk, she'll understand a little better.

Lenore stops by, dropping off a package wrapped in black paper with a green bow. A card reads:

In honor of Kia's growth, I have smithed this crown for her. The metal is enchanted to grow with her, in case she wants to wear it now. Nyoka and I hope this makes both you, Neith, and Kia happy.

You open the package and see a golden crown, which matches almost exactly the necklace that Kia was given earlier:

Konaru skipped up to the door, in her usual weird attire, grinning as she knocked on the door. "Ooooiii! Neith! Are you up?" She blinked a few times, before whispering to herself. "I hope it isn't too early.."

On his head, a little white dragon was perched. It was small..and it seemed to resemble..a "bunny", almost. Bunny dragon?

"Kree.." Ei'Naru, the dragon, squeaked and chirped as she bounced upon Taka's head.

Konaru

"Kree.." Ei'Naru, the dragon, squeaked and chirped as she bounced upon Taka's head.

Neith jumped from the kitchen table, and wandered out to the hall. "...Konaru?" She opened the door, and tried to not stare at the boy clinging to Konaru's leg. "Morning! Come on in... we just finished eating."

Kia crawled slowly, wobbling from side to side as she tried to follow Neith. As soon as she was within sight of the door, she stopped, sat herself up, and beamed towards the door.

[Konaruuu]

Konaru grinned, waving at Neith. "Hi! I..erm.." She shifted her eyes to look at Taka, who was showing a peace sign to Kia. "..I have a few errands to do today. Would you mind if Taka stayed here to play with Kia for a bit?"

Ei'Naru hopped from off of Taka's head and zoomed to sit on Kia's, chirping. Taka gave a big wave, stifling a tiny laugh.

"Alloh Kia!" He smiled and showed another peace sign while waving.

Konaru

Konaru grinned, waving at Neith. "Hi! I..erm.." She shifted her eyes to look at Taka, who was showing a peace sign to Kia. "..I have a few errands to do today. Would you mind if Taka stayed here to play with Kia for a bit?"

"Alloh Kia!" He smiled and showed another peace sign while waving.

"Not at all. Kia could do with company closer to her age... I'm not sure if letting her run around with Volu, kreatures and bloomlings all day is having the best effect with her attempts at speaking." Neith looked back at Kia, who was answering Taka with noises.

Kia reached out at Taka, like she had at Shina and Dawna. But when she saw the peace sign, she dropped her hands. Confused, she tried to do the same thing, and in the middle of her hands moving around, something landed on her head.
Kia started to twist her head around, seeing if she could see what was up there.

[Konaruuu]

"Thanks so much!" Konaru gave her friend a quick hug, and then rushed out the door, waving a quick goodbye to Taka.

Taka blinked at Kia, before giggling some more. "Like this!" While she was busy trying to find the dragonling on her head, he grabbed her hand and made her index finger and her middle finger stand up, pushing the rest against her palm. "Peace sign, like this!"

Ei'Naru chirped and leaned her head forward to stare at Kia's face. "kreee.."
