Anen blinked and tried to decide whether he should be offended by that; but he had to laugh at Elle's quick coverup. "I guess it would be strange." He looked back up at the house as something occurred to him. "I hope your mom has some clothes that will fit right until she's back to normal."
"It is. I don't even know... yea. I hope Mom knows how to be a male." She flushed a bit at hte laugh, and shrugged. "I don't know. She might, I guess I might have to go out and buy some for her."

"Are you going to be okay?" Anen turned to look at Elle. "It is pretty weird."
"I don't know. I... urgh. Definatly feel like moving out sooner now." Elle rubbed her forehead, annoyed at everything and nothing. "This is so stupid. Now she'll panic and cling because she thinks I was badly affected."

"She's probably feeling pretty strange right now, too," Anen said. "You want me to stick around for a little while so you don't have to deal with it all yourself?"
"...I might go for a walk or something. I guess Mom would need male clothes, right?" Elle looked a bit helpless, adding as the image of male underwear sprung to mind, "...ew. Male clothing."

"I'll tell her where you went then," Anen said, and this time he managed to successfully suppress the grin at Elle's expression of distaste. "I'm sure you can find something pink somewhere," he suggested helpfully. "Perhaps it wouldn't be so bad that way."
"Yea, I'm sure." A second image of men's underwear, this time fluro pink and lacy, popped into Elle's head. She squeezed her eyes shut. That was ...

She'd never sleep peacefully again!

"Okay."

"It's really not so bad," Anen said. "Boys aren't aliens, really. Most boys, anyway. It's still your mom. She just looks a little different." He pushed himself up to his feet and headed for the house, concealing his amusement at the way Elle seemed to be alternately nonplussed and vaguely repulsed by the concept. He supposed he should have more sympathy about the situation; but he couldn't bring himself to be quite as horrified, somehow.
"Is different, you mean." Elle grumbled, but she stood up and headed off towards teh shops. Maybe she could just get some... normal stuff. Unisex stuff. That'd work too.

Neith still sat there in front of the mirror, poking and prodding things. There was also the problem of how to act like a man... Did they wear glitter?

Anen knocked lightly at the door. "Ms. Neith? Uh - Elle says she's going to go get you some new clothes."
"What's wrong with the ones I have?" Neith asked through the door automatically, and paused. Men didn't wear these clothes, usually. Still, he had a very pretty face...

Maybe he could pretend to be a girl...?

"I'm sure I can still look like me in the ones I have!"
