The Breakup.

Kochikens
Kochi sighed as she glanced longingly to the window. It was in the heat of the night, and she was more mournful then ever. She had barely seen any of her family, Neith, Elle, Winny or anyone else lately. She didn't really know what had come over her. Her eyes were glazed over in thought, pondering about what she was going to do. For she knew that inevitably, something needed to happen.
Her stomach knotted as she stood up from her seat infront of the window, walking to the kitchen and taking a piece of paper that was on the fridge. "X? It's got a telephone number and an adress.." Came soft words from her mouth directed to herself. She scratched her chin as she looked to the kids bedroom door. And ideas began to formulate in her head. She knew a few major facts. She wasn't good enough for Neith. Afterall, she thought herself a monster! She would corrupt Elle into becoming some type of hideous beast, and that was not what she wanted for her children. She began to pace, her tail swishing back and forth behind herself as she parolled her territory. Many thoughts crossed her head, a little dialogue going in her head of her vs. her consious.
"You know you want too." It whispered into her ear, leaning over her shoulder.
"So? I couldn't do that to her, I love her!" She retorted fiercely.
"But you'll hurt her, Kochi. You always do." It mocked.
"I can't! I won't! I promised myself that I wouldn't do this again." Kochi hissed.
"Do you really think she's different? All she wants is your money!" Came the voice, squeeling in delight.
"She's different then them! She loves me too! She doesn't care about that. She, shes..." and her thought paused.
"Don't forget who you are, Kochi Novemisa Su'Rothimo Blackblood! You will ruin the dark child, she doesn't really love you. You're just complicating everything for them! Can't you let them be happy, you b***h?" The voice shrieked with a cackle attached.
"Shutup! I can't do it. I love her! Besides, where would I go?" She questioned, glancing to the piece of paper in her hand with the adress.
"You know where you would go, Kochi... that's why you took it, isn't it? But you can't take the vampire girl with you.. You'll hurt her... But the other girl... her.." It hummed slyly into her ear.
"You mean, Winifred..? But, I couldn't take her from her sister!" Kochi protested, walking over to the counter and resting her hands on it.
"Yes you could, and you will! You need a connection to them, both of them. They're twins afterall, you should get one! Leave that b***h, all she wants is for you to take care of them!"
"No! It's not like that! Why won't you listen?" She denied.
"Because I am you! This is what you really want!"
Kochi muttered under her breath to herself, because she knew that it was true. That was herself telling her what she wanted to hear. With a nod of her head of decision, she slipped the piece of paper with the adress into her pocket and made up her mind. She couldn't stay here, she was only making things hard for Neith. But she wouldn't be entirely deatched from her, she had to atleast leave a note and take atleast one of the twins. And her obvious choice is Winny, she didn't want to hurt Elle. With her consious egging her on, she quickly wrote out a note and stuck it onto the fridge with a magnet as she slipped out of the room. Within half an hour with everyone asleep, she had gathered up all of her necessary items like her diary, the sprockets, Mortimer and Winnys stuff and placed them in her own private coach, securing them. She could hear the whirr of something slicing through the air, looking behind herself to catch Mortimers Fandangle- Weapon in frontal view. She smiled and waved him towards the coach, for he knew when to be quiet.
She then crept into the twins room and picked up Morty in one arm, depositing him in the front seat of the coach. He of course didn't wake up, the only thing that could wake that Fa'e up would be a train to the head. She then snuck back into the room and carefully picked up Winny in both of her arms, being as careful as she could not to wake her. She stepped into the carriage and placed her next to Morty, locking the door to her old house, with her ex-fiancee and her child who she would probably never see again and closed the carriage doors, signalling for the driver to go. She handed him the adress to the house she had decided to go to untill she could decide upon a proper residence. For Kochi might as well of been dead to the two who remained in that house, she had no intention of ever going back.

The Note

Dear Neith:

I hope you know that I love you. I love you too much- that was my fault in all of this. My one big mistake. I love you so much, and Elle and the girls and everything else, that I do not want to hurt either of you. I'm sure by now you've noticed that my stuff and Mortys and Winnys are gone. It's all been transported safely. We're safe. And so are you now, I won't let anyone hurt Winny. I vow to you that, for I could not keep my vow of love. This is not a mistake, I know what I have to do. And that is protect Elle by not seeing her. I am a bad influence on my own daughter! I do not want to ruin her, for she is one of the most precious things in the world to me. I am taking Winny with me to raise instead of her, I would of taken them both if it was not for Elle's condition. Winifred will be fine with me, i'm taking them to a friends house untill I can find a nice suitable home for us. I would appreciate it if you made no attempt to follow or contact me, but know that I am always near. If it is not in physical, it is in heart.

-Regretfully yours, Kochi
It was the first night alone. First night alone, the sun was sinking, and Neith couldn't stop moving. She was barely aware of anyone else in the house, only aware that maybe tonight Kochi would try and take Elle.

And that wasn't something Neith wanted anyone to do.

She made Elle pack some of hter things, and took her across her land to the Elf camp. The camp itself was pretty, treehouses suspended high in trees, a running river right through the middle, the sounds of music drifting around. Elle wandered off to find Shaylee, while Neith made her way in the direction of a certian tree.

THe elf was Sahirah, an elf from the same Mountian as Neith grew up in. She'd arrived in Gaia months ago, and had made herself a home with Neith. She was a very pretty elf, blonde hair, dark eyes, always neat. Sahirah didn't have a lover, nor did she ever seem to mind. She'd been teaching the twins about healing, before the breakup.

"Corynder, what brings you and little elf?" Sahirah called, as Neith climbed up the tree, using Neith's real name and Elle's nickname.

"I need you to take care of her." Neith climbed up onto the platform, and rested against the smooth bark surface of the trunk. "Just for a day or two."

THe blonde elf looked surprised. "Why? Is she sick?"

"She's... one of them. Of course she's sick, she's always sick." Neith replied, a little gruffer than she'd intended. Sighing, she told Sahirah, "Kochi left me. She took Winny."

Sahirah wrapped her arms around Neith, but Neith couldn't return it. She didn't even understand why, only stepped back. "Neith... it'll be all right."

"Can you take care of her? There's ... the drink she needs... enough at home, plenty of it."

"Of course I will. Neith, where are you going?"

"Thankyou!" Neith didn't answer the question, climbing abck down. She really didnt' know either. Making her way over to Elle, she hugged the girl briefly and told her, "Be a good girl for Sahirah, okay? Mommy's got to go do some things, special elf things."

"Okay." Elle replied, confused. She wasn't liking this breakup, nothing made sense anymore... and she couldn't understand why she was now watching her mommy walk off and leave her.

Neith made her way back to her house, called a Taxi and left.
Neith's Escape.
Warning: Some strong language here, so it's not for those easily offended.
Day 1.

It was an interesting bar. Set high on a hill, dirty and tavern-themed, the bar was a mix of all types of humanoids. Elves, humans, mixed bloods, everything. The drinks were fancy, but there were also the plain beers, ales, ect. There was a hotel above, and Neith booked a room before heading downstairs.

Neith spent over two hours drinking elvish wine, her mind going fuzzy and drunk. By the time she'd finished, she felt like the sexiest half-elf alive, and Neith acted so.

She headed straight up to a handsome man, spiked black hair, red eyes, tanned skin and started to flirt. Until he said something along the lines of 'I have a fiancee'.

Neith answered straight away, "Well. I did have a fiancee, been dead for six hundred years. I tried ******** her for three months, it wasn't very satisfying, LET ME TELL YOU. She was so stiff. I haven't had sex for THREE MONTHS! I tried a week ago, but the dead b***h was even stiffer than before. So who CARES about them?" Neith slurred, and couldn't understand when he paled and left the bar.

Were vampires so shocking?

She shrugged, and made her way over to another table. Neith sat on top of it, bared one long smooth leg and stared drunkenly down at the shocked woman there. "Hey, sexy."

That woman too, even through she was drunk, muttered something about needing to leave and did so.

Neith flopped backwards on the table. She lay there, clothes all rumpled and disturbed, the once perfect hair messy and all over the place and her wings stretched and flopped. Maybe she'd wait here for a bit.

---*---

Sunlight poured through the window, bright and irritating. It made Neith's head throb, and without a herbal mixture to help her, all she could do was groan and roll over.

She was in her room, Neith found to her surprise. There was a note on the bedside table, so with a groan, Neith pulled herself slowly across the double bed and read it.

'I had you taken to your room, after I found you passed out. Nothing happened to you.
Ximena. (Bartender.)'

Neith crumpled up the note, and tugged a pillow over her head. She really didn't care if something did, not right now. It was sleep time again, she felt sick.
Elle's 'holiday'.

Day 1.

Elle's first evening and day wasn't quite so eventful. She even cheered up a bit, Sahirah was an expert at making it feel like a holiday. And there were two kids Elle'd known for a long time, two elf children.

They started out the evening with dinner. Sahirah was quite happy to take Elle to get her 'magic juice', and had secretly aranged with teh other elves to dye their food red. It was a red dinner, Sahirah announced when Elle returned, because little elf could only have red magic juice.

Afterwoods, they taught Elle to dance, as the music picked up. It was something that the elves at the camp loved to do, they loved music and dance. Although she wasn't too good at it, Elle found herself laughing and happy. By the time the moon had risen above, most elves had left the fire to head for their own cabins.

It was during the night that Elle felt the most different. She never slept for longer than two or three hours, never needing it. And there was something about the dark that called to her, awoke a different need and desire. Elle didn't understand it, and she'd never tried to follow that need. That night, she just stood on the platform high above the ground and stared into the dark shadows of the night, with the kreature Enid beside her. Elle felt a strange connection with the dark creature, and she knew that Enid also felt that craving. Enid would vanish for hours during the night, into the shadows. So many times Elle had craved the exact same thing, to move into the dark and away from the bright lights of the house. The most she'd done about it was to turn off a light in the living room and sit in the dark in there, the fireplace the only sorce of light.

The next day, Sahirah and Elle decided to read. Elle liked reading, and she liked listening to old elf tales. It was the other half of her, a half that always took over in the light of the day. All day they sat together, as Sahirah tutored Elle in things. Herbs, medicine, books, magic, everything and anything that Elle asked about.

But whenever Elle asked about Neith, Kochi or Winny, Sahirah could only respond quietly with, 'They're all on a holiday like yourself, little elf. Everyone needs holidays sometimes.' There was no other answers that Sahirah could come up with.

She'd had a discussion with some of the other elves the night before, and they'd agreed that if Neith didn't return in four days, Sahirah would need to go call one of Neith's friends to help locate her. She didn't like how unresponsive Neith had been, it wasn't a good sign. A fallen angel that lived with them, Arella, had been Kia's guardian since Kia was a toddler. She'd suggested they call either 'Eirnae' or 'Lenore', and so it was agreed that there would alwyas be one elf at the home every day. When the fourth day came, Sahirah would call one of these two.

Till then, she'd have to keep Elle happy and distracted.
Day 2

The sun was setting, and the room was getting dark.

Neith groaned, and rolled out of the bed in a lump of pillow, sheets, blankets and very disheveled half-elf. She was so SORE headed, especially above her hears. It'd been a very long time since Neith had been suffering a hangover, with her knowledge of anti-hangover cures.

So this wasn't fun, not fun at all.

She staggered towards the bathroom, and attempted to shower. By the end of it, the headache had only gotten worse. And Neith found that her hair was tangled, knotty, and the braids were all over the place. Well, she didn't care so much about that, hair was just hair.

Neith sat there a little while later, with less of a headache. It was amazing how being tipsy could fix all. She still looked pretty bad though. Her hair was wild and loose around her head, something that was rare to see in the usually perfect Neith, clothing tight and ... well, not quite as modest as it used to be. She was wearing a corset and a long skirt only, and Neith NEVER wore a corset without a top over it.

Well, Neith wasn't going to be EVER like that again. No! She was going to be wild, untamed, untied down by life, by children, by ANYTHING.

According to that note, nothing had happened. Neith couldn't argue, because she firmly believed that bartenders saw all. But it was a shame really.

She'd have to try again then.

Neith stood up, and tugged the corset in place more. Tighter. She wanted to look like a free real elf, one that hadn't ever had children.

"Come on, girls!" Neith said to her chest, adjusting it. There.

Maybe she'd be luckier tonight.

Neith woke at sunrise, exctly the same way she'd woken yesterday. Sprawled across her bed, with a note saying roughly the same thing. It wasn't from the bartender this time, some random security guard, but Neith guessed she'd probably made her way outdoors at some point. She had bits of grass stuck in her hair.

She did, though, remember wine. A lot of it. Wine, as red as blood. Human wine this time, Neith assumed, because she could recall drinking a few more bottles than everyone else. She'd impressed some people with that trick... and then Neith tried to impress them with drinking elvish wine the same way. That memory was followed by a very loud groan. That was smart. She'd managed to get through one bottle, probably, at the most.

And now...

Neith rolled out of bed, sore head and aching stomach aside and raced for the bathroom. It was going to be another long day today, long and full of plenty of time for Neith to try and not think about what she was trying to hide from.
Day 2

Kia was staying with her boyfriend now. She'd taken to sleeping over for a few days. But she did come over that day to get Elle, when Kia had been told what Neith had done.

THe best idea she could think of was to take Elle into the clinic, where she might run into some of her friends. Kia knew that when she was sad, she needed friends. Elle was probably the same.

Elle and Kia at the clinic.

(Elle meets Luna and Bronnie there, and tries to tell Luna what's been happening. Kia talks with Ghlyssa and Elle tries to hatch a 'find Winny' plan with Bronnie... before Kia drags her home, so that Kia can go back to Taka's bed. XD)

When Elle got back to the elf-camp, and Kia left to go to her boyfriend's house again, Elle wandered around for a while.

She wanted to go back.

So she did. Elle turned around, and headed back in the direction of the baby clinic place. She'd play some more!

Elle at the clinic.

(Cute Elle and Luna RP. 4laugh They play with BLOCKS! And Elle decides they are sisters too, because Luna's good with blocks. )

Elle wandered back into camp, and found herself clung to by THREE stressed elves. It was a rare sight to see one, so when she had three grab onto her and yell, "FOUND HER" she just blinked and let them drag her over to the fire.

"She's not hurt." Leg told the others, standing up and the others relaxed. "She's fine."

Elle just blinked.

"Where did you go, little elf?" Sahirah asked, sitting down and pulling Elle down with her. The other two elves drifted off in the directions of their homes, leaving the elf and the girl. "We found you gone, and we were worried."

"I went to play with Luna." Elle answered, confused. "She likes me and I think she's a sister too."

"Elle, you've got to tell us when you go. We thought you'd ... well, we didn't know what to think." Sahirah scolded gently. "What if someone took you like someone took Winny?"

"Bronnie said that if you loose something, you just look in the most best place." Elle said, watching the fire and not Sahirah. "Someone would loose me there and you find me there. I'm going to find Winny tomorrow."

"...Elle, until you're older, you need an adult with you. Or at least, someone like Kia." Sahirah added quickly, as it was hard to see Kia as an adult.

"Why?"

"Because sometimes little girls don't get lost in the 'best place', sometimes it's the worst place and we can't find those places. And strangers are mean, and they might hurt girls. We know who Winny is with, so we arn't as worried. But we didn't know who you were with."

"Mommy's lost and she might be with a stranger? You should try and find her. But okay, if I go to the clinic, I will tell you. I would be upset too if someone went missing and did not tell me where they were." Elle said this all very quietly, almost ashamed. She did feel bad now, because she'd made them all worry. Just like how she was worried about her missing family... "I'm sorry. I'll go lie down now for the night."

Elle stood up, and went for the treehouse, the odd orange, red and pink kreature stalking around her knees.

Sahirah watched her walk off, but didn't say anything. Only two more days before she went hunting down Neith.
Day 3

Neith: @_@ Heeeey.

Vyt: *sidles up* hey there yourself.

Neith: ...woah, he's sexy. What do I DO? What do I SAY? *thinks self is thinking, not talking*

Vytali: *remains nonchalant, although he's biting back a grin. Good to know she thinks I'm sexy... he thought to himself, looking down at her mischievously. "So, can I buy you a drink?" he asked, an innocuous expression on his face

Neith: A drink? ...a drink sounds really good! *tries to act cool, but is really not doing so well at it.* ...uh... *shoves current drink in the hand of a passing person* I'm in need of one anyway.

Vytali: *does laugh out loud at that* I can see that...*waves at the bartender* What'll it be, miss?

Neith brightens up a lot at the laugh. Even that's sexy! "Wine. Wine is best, always!"

Vytali shook his head, a grin still curling at the corner of his mouth. Nodding at the bartender, he chuckled, letting it trail off to an almost-purr. "You heard the lady." he said to the bartender. "And I'll have a rum n coke, please." he finished, turning back to the rather drunk elf beside him. "So, what brings you here?" he asked, eyes meeting her own.

Neith didn't answer at first, her eyes were going wider and trailing down from his face. Down...down...down... HELLO!

She grinned even wider. Now that was something Neith hadn't seen in this place yet.... TRUE sexiness. "I'm escaping the world, and looking for a male. You?" ...right, that last part wasnt' supposed to pop out like that. Neith just stared back into his eyes though, daring him to comment.

Vytali blinked once, and she probably noticed, although she wouldn't have if she hadn't met his gaze so squarely. Damn, but he hated admitting he'd been taken aback or caught by surprise. xD. Wiggling his eyebrows, he grinned disarmingly at her. "Well, last I checked, I fulfilled part've that requirement..." he said, letting his voice drop to a husky whisper. Just then, the bartender returned with their drinks. Plonking down some money (enough to cover the drinks, and leave a hefty tip), he turned back to Neith, handing her her glass of wine. "Shall we toast? To a mutually beneficial evening?" he asked, waggling his eyebrows once more.

Neith watched him blink, with a very odd sort of satisfaction. She went a bit red though at the wriggling of the eyebrows... since when had she EVER known anyone to do it in such a hot way?... and nodded a little bit. "You did, in a bigger way than I expected. In a place like this."

She shifted closer when the drinks came, and she just laughed a bit when he did it again. "Yes... to a mutually beneficial evening." She wriggled her eyebrows back, brushing against him a bit... hands brushing in places by 'accident'. It was a fact, Neith getting drunk was dangerous.

Sliding one hand around her waist, Vytali allowed his fingertips to trace along her lower back teasingly, refraining, at the same time, from touching her anywhere else. With his other hand, he raised his glass in her direction, sipping from it as he gazed at her over the rim.

This male was just... too damn teasing for Neith's liking. She shivered, a shudder going down her spine. If he kept that up, Neith would drag him away to her room... wine or no wine.

But this was nice too, she could live with this. Neith sipped at her wine, the other hand trailing over one of the elf's hips with very light barely there touches. She was very slowly drifting backwards towards a darker corner, luring him and daring him to follow.

His teasing grin never slipping, Vytali allowed the half elf to lead him sloooowly towards a darker corner, running his hand up her spine as he did so. He was playing his favorite game now, and like a dance he knew all the steps to, every move was smooth. However, as they shifted towards a dark corner, his posture became a little more predatory, as if he were about to step things up a notch.

Neith stopped when they reached the corner, putting her drink down on a table nearby. This was something she'd been waiting for... apparently, all she needed to do was not drink three wine bottles in an hour, and she had it!

Or did it have her?

That didn't stop Neith though, she liked how he seemed to change a bit. She leaned forward, teasing him, barely a centimeter away from him... but not touching, never touching.

Closing the distance, Vytali locked his lips against her own, pressing her up against the wall, although he kept his body hovering a few scant inches from hers. Shifting slightly, he laved her lower lip with his tongue, as if trying to memorize the texture of her mouth. He braced both of his hands on the wall beside her head, and it was all so fast that one had to wonder what had happened to his drink...

Neith's hands fell onto his hips when his lips pressed against hers, quite willing to be pressed to the wall, sandwiched between him and it. She ran the palms of her hands up and down his sides, doing all she could to return the kiss... Neith found herself wondering if being less drunk would help her at this point... and where did his drink go? ...who cared! Already breathing faster than normal, Neith decided that the best thing she could do was to let him take charge.
...until she dragged him in the direction of her room.
She wrapped both arms around the elf's body, trying pulling him closer to her own. That distance thing was suddenly not quite as good as it originally seemed!

Chuckling against her mouth, Vytali proved that he could be a most willing follower...when the leader in question was doing precisely as he wanted them to. Following her towards her room, he allowed his hands to roam lightly up her arms, and across her shoulders, before mirroring her own caresses, playfully drawing light circles up and down her ribcage, tilting his head to the side to kiss her more fully.

The very second Neith was in the room, she'd waited for him to shut the door and pressed herself against him again. She'd gotten lucky, it seemed, because he wasn't racing away from her at top speed like half the other men she'd seen.

She tilted her head as well, letting him take control again. Neith's hands moved up teh front of his chest... before moving to her own and the strings of her corset, tugging the knot out and leaving it for him to figure out when he was ready...

Then her hands went straight back to the sexy elf, stroking his skin with her light teasing touch.

Pressing himself close, Vytali lightly shoved her back towards the bed, staring down at her with a grin. "Veeeery nice." he purred, leaning over to kiss her lightly, the touch almost innocent, it was so gentle.

Neith's return kisses weren't innocent, they was passionate and full of the wine provoked lust she was feeling. After, she just grinned, and sat back on the bed, waiting for him to join her.

It was going to be a nice long night. And that only brought one word to this- Yay!

---*---

Neith woke up late into the morning. Her head didn't pound as much, and she had a very clear idea of what had happened the night before, and why she was naked now. It made her smile, a huge smile. She rolled over, thinking she'd wake the elf... who's never even given her his name...

But he was gone.

"What the ********?" Neith exclaimed, sitting up straight. There was no sexy elf. She knew he had been there... but where the hell was he now? "I get a man, an ELF none the less... and it turns out to be a one night stand."

She paused, and grinned, before flopping back onto the bed. "A very GOOD one night stand. I wonder if he'll be there tonight..."

Neith drifted back into sleep, unaware that the good mood, and carefreeness was only because she was still drunk.

But that was something she'd figure out later.
Day 3

Elle and Sahirah sat on the platform of Sahirah's home above the ground, at a table. It was peaceful, dusk was falling over the world, candles lit the platform brightly and Sahirah was glad to see that Elle finally believed that it was more a holiday for everyone. She hated seeing the girl miserable.

"So this..."

"This herb, when crushed and mixed with water, aids internal healing in animals." Sahirah repeated what she said patiently, and watched Elle scribble down in elvish underneath the herb's name, 'makes insides better in animals.'

They were studying again, Sahirah had found that a good way to distract Elle was to show her things she didn't know. Unfortunately, healing seemed to be harder, as Elle was sad whenever she was reminded about how different her own body was. But Sahirah had found a way around that, by teaching her how to heal animals. And, she'd found that while doing that, she could help Elle learn how to write and read Elvish.

Elle and Winny were two of the brightest mixed bloods that Sahirah had taught, but Winny seemed less focused. Not that Sahirah was surprised, she'd found that in all outgoing children. It was a bit of a relief to not have her around, Elle could concentrate better.

She was sure everything was fine... until Elle glanced up and asked, "Can you see mommy coming back yet?"

Sahirah couldn't stand it. She sighed, and stood up, if she waited ONE MORE DAY, her normally placid nature would go right out the window. "I'll go call her, see if she's on her way. Sleep at Leg's house tonight! I think she was coming during the daylight hours."

Elle didn't respond to that, just quietly packed up her things and headed in that direction.

Sahirah didn't like to see a child so obedient, it wasn't natural. She got dressed for riding, and mounted her horse. It was time to call Lenore, and send out a search party.
Sahirah sat in Neith's living room, clutching to a cup of tea with one hand, and flicking through Neith's address book with the other hand. Arella stood next to her, pointing out who was who and how they related to Neith.

Finally, they came to Lenore.

"She and Neith are good friends now." Arella told Sahiarh, sitting down in a chair.

"She's the one you recommended?"

Arella nodded. "She is lover to Neith's adopted sister, Eirnae. She is best, and hopefully that's where Neith went."

"I'll call her then." Sahirah picked up the phone, and dialed Lenore's number.

---*---

Neith was sober.

And not just that, she was pissed off. She slashed at a random cushion with the dagger she'd taken, taking her anger out on it.

She'd been used! Neith had been used for a child, and now she had been used for SEX too? She slashed at the cushion again, growling, pretending it was that damn elf's head. He hadn't even told her his name, which was INSULTING. She couldn't hunt him down now and threaten him, and slash at him...

He'd taken advantage of her! She was drunk, and it wasn't like it wasn't obvious or anything. A real gentleman wouldn't take advantage of a drunken lady!

...never mind that she'd been strutting around the bar almost half naked. That was her choice, and all the other men had been gentlemen.

Tonight, Neith decided, she'd go to the bar. And if he was there... Well, she'd yell. Other than that, Neith wasn't sure. She had a nice sharp sword, did she not?

It didn't occur to Neith that it was just anger at Kochi that she was feeling. At that moment, she couldn't remember that life. She didn't care about why she was so angry, only that she was and she HAD to either take it out on a stranger. He'd do, he'd used her.

The strangest part about Neith's mood then, was that she couldn't remember her life at Gaia. None of it, not her children, or her friends, or her home, all of it was conveniently blocked out from her memory. What Neith could remember though was hurt, and anger, and betrayal. That was all she wanted to know, and Neith connected it directly with the elf she'd slept with.

It'd gotten dark hours ago. Neith was fuming still, as she dressed. Black leather corset, black cotton top underneath- the corset had been rubbing and hurting her bare skin, long black pants and boots. Boots, with Neith's dagger carefully stashed into them, and her long sword stashed and hidden underneath a cloak. She was going to drink tonight, but Neith wasn't going to let that stupid elf come near anyone again.

Neith paused as she tried to do her hair, feeling a stab of pain above both ears again when she tried to do her hair. Not understanding why, she just made do with a loose pony tail. Maybe she'd hit her head or something.

She trudged downstairs, barely paying anyone a single look. Neith sat in a corner moodily, and started to drink her wine, both grey eyes darting around as she looked for her prey. Someone had to pay for how horrible Neith felt.
Nyoka knocks on Neith's front door. Her mum had left, looking for Neith soon after she got the phone call. She asked if Nyoka would stay with Damien, but after about half an hour of her being gone, Nyoka's worry over the twins set in.

So, here she is, waiting for the door to be answered, and holding onto Damien's hand.

Lenore, however, is having a spot of trouble pinpointing where Neith is.

Finally, after about the fifth bar, she catches a flicker of her. She walks into the bar, slowly. She is grateful that she somewhat blends in with the bikers here, as she is wearing just as much leather as the rest of them, with her moss-green leather corset, short leather skirt, stillhetto-heeled boots, and black, spaghetti-strapped shirt. She looks around with her amber, reptilian eyes.

Finally, she sees her friend, and starts for her. She makes her way through the crowd to the corner table. She sits down heavily, and says "Hey," in a soft, detatched sort of voice. She has enough on her plate, she should be at home, sitting at the window and waiting for Eirnae to return. But, she hates to admit it, this is a welcome change. She has someone else to worry about.

Ximena looks up from the bar. She has been keeping an eye on the blonde elf ever since she had to get someone to help her to her room. She stiffens when she sees her half sister. She is torn, now, between wanting to hear the conversation, and wanting to remain out of sight. She compromises, as it is close to the end of her shift anyway, and goes to sit with a friend at a table which has a seat out of Lenore's line of vision, but is within earshot.
Kia was flopped across the couch, unable to move. She'd just gotten comfortable, her stomach was propped up, the twins were sleeping... she thought, it was hard to tell.

So it was Elle who opened the door. She had slightly been expecting to see mommy, and couldn't help but look a bit disappointed when she saw it wasn't them.

"Hi. Kia's in the living room." Elle told Nyoka and Damien, one hand dropping off the door handle like a stone to rest limply beside her.

Kia froze, panicked. It was NYOKA. ...Hadn't Kia just tried to beat up Aadil? Suddenly, she didn't care about being comfortable; Kia was rolling off the couch and crawling into the closet nearby. She tugged the door closed, and was safe.

Neith still sat there, eyes darting around for that sexy elf male. She'd ignored all the women tonight, and barely noticed when someone saw her and made her way over. She jumped when that someone talked to her as well, and Neith's eyes darted to Lenore.

For a few moments, she just stared. She'd not seen this woman before, right? But she still felt familiar, and it wasn't a feeling that Neith was currently welcoming. If Neith could have moved at that moment, she probably would have. But the drink and her slower mind caused her to stay seated and just stare more. "...Hello."
Nyoka smiles at Elle. "We didn't come to see Kia," she says. "We wanted to come and keep you company. Right Damien?" she asks her brother, looking down at him. He is being shy again.

"Yes," he replies, though. "But, my sister can talk to yours while you and I talk. . . ." he says rather softly.

Nyoka's ear twitches when she hears a door close in the living room. "Kia?" she calls, slithering toward the room.

Damien waits with Elle. He wasn't going to follow his sister just yet. His clever eyes had caught the disappointment.

Lenore looks over at Neith, dully. "Why are you here?" she finally asks, not knowing that Neith doesn't recognize her. "You have daughters at home who need you. You are being damned selfish."

Xemina's ear perks. So, they are friends? Interesting. Maybe she should have taken the time to get to know this elf more. It could have been to her advantage. She lights a cigarette at that thought, and joins in the conversation of her friends, still keeping her ears on what her half sister and her friend are saying.
"Oh, well... Hello." Elle shifted on her feet, going a bit shyer at that. Why would they want to come see her? She wasn't something special, like pregnant or something. She watched Nyoka head towards the living room, and glanced back at Damien. "Have you done anymore magic?"

Kia wriggled further into the closet, sure that Nyoka would be mad, and know all about it already. After all, if someone had done that to Taka... Well, someone other than Nyoka, or Shina, or those, then Kia would be currently chasing them down.

Neith just sipped at the wine again, convinced that this woman had her mistaken for someone else. "I don't have children." And maybe she was familiar, because... well, there was a reason. Neith probably met her before, during one of her drunken nights. "You must be searching for someone else."
Damien shakes his head sadly. "Mum has been out of sorts, lately," he says. "And Nyoka is more worried about her home, and protecting our home for some reason. . . . And my other mum has been gone a long time. But, I have been working on the ones I have found in books. It's not a very good way to teach myself, but that is what I am left with." Realizing he has suddenly started to babble, Damien shuts up for a moment. "Er. . . what have you been studying?" Nyoka didn't really explain anything, like why she is worried for Elle or Kia, or why mum left so suddenly. But, he is trying not to strike any raw nerves, as he believes it has something to do with Neith.

"Kia, stop playing games," Nyoka says, looking around. "Come out of whereever you are. You should be lying down! What did I tell you? If you weren't following doctors orders, I would cut you myself."

Lenore blinks, rather dumbly. "Neith," she starts. "I have not got the wrong person. Kia is at home with Elle right now, and Elle is worried sick! First Kochi walks out without a word, and now you aren't around. How do you think that makes that little girl feel? Quit thinking of only yourself!"

Ximena raises an eyebrow. So, that explains why this Neith has been acting as she has. Whoever this Kochi woman is walked out on her. . . . This is why she never allows herself to fall in love with anyone. . . .
"My mommies have been out of sorts too." Elle wasn't sure what that meant, but as she watched him say it, that look only stirred sadder emotions in her too. They had to be the same thing. "Maybe it is a funny time for mommies, they all are acting strange."

She shrugged at his question, brightening up a tiny bit more. Elle pointed to the little library that was closeby. "Elves teaching me about how to heal animals."

Kia crawled out of the closet, looking sheepish. "You might cut me anyway if you find out what I did." She crawled back to the couch, and tried to get on it again.

Neith just sipped at her drink again. This woman was crazy, and probably on drugs. Neith couldn't smell any drink on her. "I don't know a Kia, or a Elle. I know that there are cars called Kia, in the human world. But I don't own one of those either."

She glanced up again, eyeing Lenore up and down. Neith had been waiting for that male elf, but she could have fun while waiting, right? "Why don't you sit, have a drink?"
