Welcome to Gaia! ::

"It would," Rio agreed. "There is much for them to learn, and to grow into. Not so different from us, in many ways." Yes, they all had growing and learning to do, though of different kinds. The older gods, specifically, had remembering to do. So much valuable information and history, lost.

'Very true...and so much to recover from before. Perhaps we can do better than our mortal followers, learn from our past mistakes and correct them. I for one hope to do so...who I was Before is not who I am now.' For one, before the Fading, he had been far, far more neutral a god when it came to his dealings with mortals.

Either way, I think the small ones give us the most hope...after Harmodius himself. Seeing them, hearing of them...' Oh yes, he absolutely felt hopeful when he saw the kids or heard from others that there were more wandering around on short, stubby legs - eyes bright, hearts and minds open and seeking knowledge.
"I think we are all changed in some way, whether we admit it - embrace it - or not." And whether or not it was entirely good for them to be so, as there were surely downsides to being reborn in such a way, although Rio felt the good outweighed the bad. "I don't remember much of before, and it's difficult to imagine being much different from the way I am now. Perhaps that's for the best."

"I agree, although I will admit to bias." There were few areas, if any, in which he could be considered neutral at all, and the topic of children was certainly not one of them.

Endiovar believed it was generally for the good, the bettemrent of the Deities involved, but one never knew...perhaps one of them would get (or just find and keep) the worst traits from their host? He didn't want to think about that and so pushed it from his mind. "You're probably right, Rio. No need to focus on the past when the present is what matters most now. The past is but a tool for us to use towards the betterment of today...wouldn't you say?"

Endi laughed and fluffed his wings a bit; it was totally understandable that Rio be biased to his children - even if they had mostly been born by his host.
"I would," he agreed easily, his wings mirroring the movement of Silence's - just without the actual fluffing, since his were hard and sharp. He sometimes envied the deities with softer wings, who could sleep without being poked and prodded by bits of hard candy. Being partially edible did have its benefits, though, he couldn't deny that.

A pause, and he posed a curious question, "Do you venture outside the Pantheon often?"
