Tanz nodded and smiled when the kinda scary lady got him a chair. But maybe he shouldn’t call her a ‘scary lady’ since she got him a chair.

Tanz wasn’t freaked out so much as fascinated by Dominic and his brother Damien when they both spoke at once, it was more of the differences in the smiles that got the little dancer.

“No problem.” Tanz muttered in confusion as he turned around when he heard someone coming up to him. His whole face lit up when he saw that it was nice lady Shelly. He liked her the best so far, but that’s ‘cause he’s still a little sleepy and doesn’t have enough energy to talk that much to the other people.

Holding up his arms Tanz waiting for Shelly to help him up in the chair, thought he could have gotten up if he tried, he just wouldn’t tell anyone that.

Shelly gently tucked her hands under the boys armpits and lifted him up into the high seat. She then scooted the chair in so he was close enough to reach his food once it was brought, and re-seated herself.
"Do you live here Tanz? Or is your father just bringing you to work with him?" Shelly asked curiously as she reached out and got her glass. This time, both boys made devious grins as they watched the crow woman lift the glass to her lips and take a sip. She blinked, and then spat the liquid out, managing to spill it all over her hand and her place mat.

Tenshi, knowing exactly what that meant, slapped her hand on the table to get both boys attention.
"Alright! Which one of you pests did it?" She barked, both boys immediately pointed at the other. Tenshi thinned her eyes in annoyance, before she picked up a napkin and handed it to Shelly so she could wipe herself.
"That's it, nether of you get dinner tonight." She barked. Tenshi was a mother of harsh punishments. Both boys made expressions of protest.
"And I'm taking away your playstation for the rest of the day."
"But Mooooooom!" Damien whined, he was the one who played it the most. Dominic smirked because the punishment didn't bother him at all.
"And your books." Tenshi said to get the smile off the blonds face.

She gave really harsh punishments.

Tanz wiggled and got comfy in the chair he was placed in. He might not have been used to the booster seat, because he usually just sat in the booth, but they really weren’t so bad.

Playing with his place mat Tanz smiled at the nice lady, “My and my dad live up there,” He pointed up to the ceiling as he continued speaking. “Neil also lives there too, but he’s mean so I don’t see him much.” He was about to say something more, but then the nice lady tried to take a drink of her Lemonade, and bad things happened.

When the scary lady slammed her hand down on the table Tanz flinched and his eyes widened. Instead of listening to the lady as she yelled, Tanz jumped off his seat and grabbed another napkin so he could help Shelly clean up. He didn’t know what happened, but he wanted to help.

After he had helped Shelly Tanz went back to his seat and climbed up and turned around. He glanced down at the table and tried not to look at the mirrors or the scary lady. Maybe then they wouldn’t get mad at him either.

"Thank you Tanz." Shelly said with a smile as she whiped the blood-tainted liquid from her hands. She then gently soothed Tanz's hair before she set her drink on the edge of the table.
"Damien and Dominic have a bad habit of turning other peoples drinks into blood or wine. They're bad boys." She said in a childish manor as she swung the edge of her stained napkin at them. The two boys grinned at each other.

"You live here? That mean you get stuff on menu all day?" Dominic asked, turning the conversation away from his brothers misdeed in the hopes that it would make their mother forget about punishing them. Damien tilted his head and reached up to rub one of his horns.

Tenshi just kept her arms crossed and leered sharply at the two boys.

Tanz smiled at the nice lady when she thanked him. Keeping his questions about blood and wine to himself, because how could something like that happen? He liked his water just the way it was. And his father should be coming out with the food soon, so he doesn’t want anything else to happen between now and then. His father was horrible about crowed control.

Looking up at the mirrors Tanz blinked at them, not because they addressed them directly but because there was tiny horns nestled into their blond and black hair. Holding his questions once again, he has been doing that all day, he instead answered the question that was asked.

“My father and I live here, Neil stays the night at Otto’s a lot, since he doesn’t like me all that much.” Scrunching his nose he tried to figure out how to explain Quentin and his weirdness. “I can’t get food all day, since Quentin, the cook, is only here when the café is open. But I can ask him if he could make me something, and if something isn’t really on the menu, and it is odd enough, he will try to make it.” Tanz finished explaining as he folding a part of his napkin that wasn’t used to help Shelly clean up.

----Otto----

“Alright I am heading out!” Otto punched the air in excitement as he threw off his apron and hung it on his rack in the kitchen. Quentin and Collan weren’t fighting for once and where quietly making bread on the clean counter in between the window and the fridge. Quentin turned and waved an elbow while the teenager just grunted at him.

The lack of good bye didn’t ruin his mood at all. Even almost running over Tanz while he helped his father Shiri clear tables could not stop his stride. Otto made it all the way to the front door before he paused. But not because he was having second thoughts, but because there was a physical barrier. Neil.

The older man glared and Otto tried not to fidget.

“Anything you need boss?”

Neil narrowed his eyes. He hated it when Otto called him that. Which is why it regularly came out of the waiters mouth.

“Don’t be late.” Whether or not he meant to the date or work the next day Otto didn’t get, but he sidestepped Neil as quickly as was polite and almost skipped down the street. He had to go pick Cassi up at her house, which Shiri gave him directions to. Cassi’s house seems to be the same place where Tanz dropped into exsistance.

Humming to the earphones that where stuck into his ears, Otto quickly ran down the street to go pick up his date he wanted to hurry. There was a late night of partying that awaited him.

~Cassi~

It was 10 minutes to seven and Cassi was putting on the final touches to her look. She had spent most of the past tow hours putting everything together. She had decided on a red lacy plaid skirt that barely that went just short of mid-thigh. It was accented by torn-up fishnets. The club that she planned on taking Otto to was very dark and called for that sort of clothing. Her cleavage was pushed up in an un-mistakenly way by her black corset halter-top.

“Cole? Cole? Did you take my eyeliner? Cole? Where are you?”

“Mother I’m right here.” Cassi jumped as Cole seemed to burst from the shadows.

“Cole! Wow! You scared me there for a second! Did you take me eyeliner?”

“No.” Cole’s eyes shifted to look at the floor, but only for a moment, but in that moment, Cassi saw the lie.

“Cole, go to your room get me my eyeliner or it’s no violin for a week!”
Cole’s eyes grew large as he scrambled off to his cave. Cassi had taken away his violin once for a week and it had been the worst week in his life.

Cassi gave a smirk and went back to fixing her make-up. Her eyes were sparkling with silver eye shadow and her lips painted a dark purple. She just needed to touch up on the heavy black eyeliner and she would be all set.

Cole can running back in, eyeliner in hand, his breathes coming in short pants. “Here! I got it! No need to take my violin away!”

“Thanks scruffy, now I’m going out, so don’t cause Eveline of Lynet any trouble, here?”

Cole’s eyes darkened at the use of the nickname as well as Cassi’s orders, “Fine.” He muttered before slipping off into his room.

Cassi sighed at the moody behaviour of her brat before turning back to the bathroom mirror and adjusting her make-up one last time.

Now all she had to do was wait until Otto came to pick her up and escape from the house before Eveline could lecture her.

----Otto----

Otto whistled to himself, but if he was being truthful to himself, he was quite lost. He was standing in front of this ancient house. The only thing that it lacked was the muggy atmosphere, the bats, and the really over grown lawn. The garden they had was quite nice and the grass seemed to be green, so he didn’t have to worry about anyone not living there. But was this really the place where Cassie and Cole lived?

He’ll just call Shiri to make sure. Though it is a twenty percent chance the man has his cell phone on him, Tanz seems to like carrying it more then the real owner.

Pulling out his own phone Otto quickly dialed and put the phone to his ear.

“Hello – Tanz. Buddy, can you put your dad on?”

“What do you mean he locked himself in the bathroom – oh, Ron came over, yes, he should be fine.”

“Wait, can you tell me something quick, I am sure those noises are normal…alright, can you tell me what the old house looked like – Yes the one you came from.”

“Alright then, I believe this is the right house then, thought I don’t see a ghost in the front yard. Tell Shiri to just kiss him already. Yes, I will, but don’t tell Neil, he’s out to bust my a** and I got no way to stop him.”

Otto smiled as he heard some more screaming on the other end of the phone, but it was just another normal day at the café. Putting his phone in his pocket, making sure it was off and it had enough battery so it wouldn’t run out when he called work tomorrow. Going to work with a hang over was never a good thing. Last time he did that Otto made Tanz cry. He was still making the kid smoothies for that incident.

Popping out his earphones Otto ran a hand through his bight red hair, which was totally natural and he was more then happy to point it out to any lovely lady who asked. Looking in a near by window he concluded that he looked presentable as he walked up the path. The house might be giving him the chills but the lady inside was what he was after, not anything as important as another child to take care of.

~Cassi~

As Cassi watched Otto approach the mansion, she left out a small smirk. She completely understood the wariness that Otto had showed. Her house wan’t exactly the most welcoming of homes.

Not wanting to keep her guest waiting, Cassi walked to the door, making sure that her hair was the perfect level of messy and clean. She was aiming for a slight sex hair look, without it being too crazy.

She opened the door to see Otto standing there. “Hey there, “ She purred while leaning against the door frame, “Why don’t you come in quickly while I finish up?” She left the door open for Otto to come in.

“I just need to find a pair of shoes and a jacket, and then we can go. I hope you like techno!” Cassi called out behind her as she went off in search for a pair of black, knee high stiletto boot. She quickly checked her face one last time and grabbed her red pleather jacket and her clubbing purse.

“Alright then, sorry for keeping you waiting there, babe!” She walked right over to Otto and slide up close to him. “How ‘bout we get going then?” She whispered in his ear as she ran her perfectly manicured finger across his jaw line. She then proceeded out the door, coyly glancing behind her for Otto to follow.

----Otto----

Otto was eternally grateful when Cassi, his date, came out the door and not some ghost like Tanz was talking about. Well, Shiri told Tanz about the ghost, but Otto still didn’t want to meet her. Nothing against her or anything, he just wanted to keep his lunch firmly in his stomach. Ever since his brother got into the whole “Ghost Hunting” thing Otto hasn’t been able to walk in unfamiliar places in the dark.

As the door opened Otto put on his million dollar smile, with a hint of flirt as he took in his date. She was definitely in her clubbing gear. He knew that he didn’t look half bad in his outfit, the small addition of eyeliner made the perfect addition to make him look good but not approachable. He was on a date after all.

Otto glanced around the mansion as Cassi let him in for a moment, it was quick enough that he didn’t get a good glance, but it was slow enough that Otto knew that he wouldn’t want to be in the house alone for long periods of time.

Otto smirked at the blatant flirting that Cassi was directing at him. The girl knew that she had him in her grasps, she was just looking for something fun to do in the mean time. He could do that. “I’d wait on you all night.” He snickered as he followed her out the door.

He would gladly and honestly admit that he was staring at her a** the entire time. Come on, why strut like that if you didn’t want it ogled?

Whistling to himself again Otto walked up to the blond and put a casual arm around her waist. He didn’t want anyone thinking that they could get a piece of something that was already taken after all.
