Welcome to Gaia! ::

My mom used to always read the Spanish version of The Rainbow Fish and Las Lechucitas (Baby Owls) to me when I was little.

I also really liked Where The Wild Things Are and the Magic Tree House series.

The Lorax, The Deltora Series, and If you give a Mouse a cookie are the only ones that really stand out in my mind right now. I'm sure there's others though, I read voraciously as a child, still do actually. 3nodding

I was thrilled to find out that they were making a movie of it. heart

The Jungle Books by Rudyard Kipling. I was a weird child . . .
I also had a thing for The Berenstain Bears and the Spooky Old Tree, Chika Chika Boom Boom, and Green Eggs and Ham. Apparently, I had the later memorized.

Didn't everyone have Green Eggs and Ham memorised? (Oh, and I'm just finishing the Jungle Books by Kipling for the first time. God he is fantastic.)

Just So Stories by Kipling when I was really young, and then when I was a little older, Faraway Tree and Famous Five by Enid Blyton.
yall rock! biggrin
Animorphs. There's nothing like a series of books in which kids transform into animals and graphically rip the limbs off of people and aliens.
the pokey little puppy, dr. suess, and then later the goosebumps books...kind of a strange progression, i guess...
There's a Monster at the End of this Book. heart
