I don't read a lot of desturbing books but I do remember reading some of the book, Doc. Very disturbing. It's based on a true story of some doctor who worked with women. He would impregnate them and do other sexual things to them. Horrible, I know. My dad recommended the book to me... xp

Thicker Than Blood & Breaking Dawn
Both books lead to nothing, have bazaar,random things that happen and in the end make no sense what so ever

Ender's Game. I honestly gave it a try a few times, and the concept made me never want to pick it up. The nightmare fuel I got from trying to enjoy the book made me throw it across the room and never wanted to pick it up ever again.

The Princess and the Hound by Mette Ivie Harrison. It was about some prince who had animal magic, and he gets engaged to a princess who is inseparable from her hound.

What Happened to Lani Garver by Carol Plum-Ucci. It's one of my favourite books ever, but it gets really out of hand towards the end; I remember that the last chapter had me in silent shock, wide eyed and lips slightly parted as the words engulfed me. It was so not cool....But I love the book for that, and I re-read it constantly.

I ******** LOVE that book but I couldn't finish it. I got to the part at the end where she's at his 'mom's' house. I hope he did swim away and didn't die.

Whew... My first post. Alright. I'm very surprised that Chuck Palahniuk's "Invisible Monsters" was mentioned. And here I though I was the only person who ever read it. Yeah, it is sick... The emotional idea of complete self destruction was very unsettling. Palahniuk is a great writer.
