Nothing, if Hollywood can't get their s**t straight. I've already had one of my favorite series ruined by their bullshittery, and I might just pitch a fit if they ruin another one.
That said, I am eager for the release of The Hobbit. And ONLY if del Toro himself directs/produces it, The Strain Trilogy. He co-wrote it with Chuck Hogan, so the only condition I would see that adaptation done under is if Guillermo himself did it.
I like keeping books as books.
Because I picture things vastly different from how the directors/everyone else sees it.
The way my minds sees it and the way they make it into a movie just kind of leaves me...disappointed.
So..Books stay as books.
Vampire Academy. >.>;;
I don't know if they are making it in a movie or in a series (I only know that imdb.com says it's coming 2013). I hope they don't back out. I mainly want to watch it so I can see who they choose for Rose, Dimitri, and Adrian.
I somewhat enjoyed The Looking Glass Wars, but I feel like it would translate much better into screen. So, yes, that one.
The Book Thief would be amazing, if done well.
Most of the books I've read, though, need to stay books. Not because they're bad, but just because I feel a movie adaption would ruin them.
