Right, so...
I've bought and read all the books released so far - Into the Wild to Outcast. More than half of them are first editions, and nearly all the first editions are signed by 'Erin Hunter' (more so Victoria Holmes, in this case). I also recently bought and read all the manga released so far. Not really into the drawing style... and I dislike Millie a lot. But OMG - I can't wait until The Rise of Scourge comes out in a couple weeks! I'm also excited for the Bluestar Super Edition; hopefully it won't be as bland as Firestar's Quest. Cats of the Clans should be interesting if they include a lot of illustrations like they're supposed to. Um... Tigerstar, Darkstripe, and Jaypaw are my favorite cats. I'm not really into Firestar, at least not after Moonrise. I do, however, still like Fireheart. I think the first 6 books are the best and will probably remain the best, A Dangerous Path being my favorite out of those and out of all the books ever released. The New Prophecy struck me as very bland... I don't care for any of the 6 in that series. The Power of Three seems okay so far, at least Outcast was a breath of fresh air, anyways.   |

I've finished the first series and loved it. Just waiting for the rest of The New Prophecy books to arrive at the library before I devour those volumes too.
My favorite character was Tigerstar oddly enough. The antagonists always interest me more than the protagonists. xd |

Not a Baller The New Prophecy struck me as very bland... I don't care for any of the 6 in that series. Everyone agrees that the new profecy was not so good. well.. Every one except me eek I am sure that some other people liked it too, but im sure that most did not. Why, because it was boring, even i can agree with that. I am still glad i read it. It makes the perfect set up for the shock in eclipse when windclan and riverclan are in thunderclan terratory. Not only that, but it sets up the third series so well. The anciant cats that lived in the new forest that aparently is not so new. Erin hunter knew what she was doing. She even included "leafpaw" feeling as if she was stepping in a place where cats had stepped many times before when she found the moonpool. i know it is an expencive set up, but it also does have its cool parts. More cats died in the new prophecy than they have in all of the power of three. Then there is one more thing i have to say: Lionblaze ROCKS!!! cool |

I have never read these books but have looked at them and got requests from my friends saying that i would like them. I guess i should go get my mom to get off her butt to get me one. She will be happy that im asking for a book thats NOT maga! lol

icechild21 Ok, heres the deal. I'll give the rundown with out totally spoiling it all. Overview: the whole place where this is is cats in 4 seperate clans, which are a form of government and 'civilitation'. There is a prophacy given by dead cats (STarclan) for each series. heart Series#1: An outsider comes to join the clans and uncoveres a plot of death and destruction. Naturallyy he has to try to stop it. Somewhat a murdur mystery, only we know who the murdereer is and it's PG. Series#2: Second generation has a problem, thir forest home it being destroyed and 6 cats go on a journy to find a new home, interuppting another cat group's prophacy and other things. (frankly, the first series is better) SEries#3: AS only one book is out, can't give you much info, 'cept that if you liked the first series, you'll like this one. Actually , Series one(Main events) : Some kittypet by the name of Rusty left the forest and ran into some clan cats , they welcomed him in and he became Firepawthen , Fireheart the deputy , then finally Firestar the leader of ThunderClan.After recieving the nine lives of a leader,Bluestar(the former leader of thunderclan)revealed to him that a very dark time was coming for the four clans.As the former deputy of ThunderClan got exiled and comes back for revenge , becoming the leader of ShadowClan , he found allies at RiverClan and BloodClan ( A very danerous kittypet clan) which he joined with ShadowClan under his control , they became TigerClan(A legendary clan) until BloodClan's leader , Scourge killed Tigerstar and wanted to take over the forest , Firestar then joined ThunderClan,RiverClan,WindClan and ShadowClan together to form LionClan(another legendary clan) went into battle with BloodClan , after exhausting ours of fighting , Firestar killed Scourge. I'm too sleepy to continue on series 2 & 3 so I'll do so some other days. If there are any questions about series 2&3 feel free to PM me. |

mepo_schmepo89 I read the first five,and then I got stuck because i didn't have the sixth one. I've read some of the second series, even though I am at a total loss to the sixth book in the first series. the books are really good, but I WANT THE SIXTH ONE!!!!! Problem is, I never have a chance to go to Borders or any other book store. Wow! the six book is the most exciting one yet! If you ever need me to PM you with the main events , feel free to ask me! |

I've never read them. Are they teen books or would an older person enjoy them? Also, where can I find a list of the order of them? (I can't for the life of me figure out which is the first book>< wink
