You could try the Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. It's written from the point of view of a 15-year-old autistic and the writing is very simple.

I'd like to recommend books by Bob Ong, if you're a Filipino.

If not, the American author J.R. Ward's series, The Black Dagger Brotherhood. (^^,) every novel is unique and has its own character. Quite erotic and sexy, though.
