No, but I'll try and think of something. It's been a while since I've done a character-avatar, so you'll have to bear with me.
Heh yeah, the race start gun is a little much.

I read that series a few months and I just loved it. I had heard about it from my friend a year or so ago, but never really got around to checking it out. I'm so glad I did!
The size of the gun is about right though. I believe in either five or six Jack Andolini saw it and thought it was so large that it couldn't possibly be real.

Any one read the comics?

Yes, but I don't have them with me for comparison purposes. I'll probably have to wait until I get home to flip through them.

That was a slight exaggeration but the revolvers are supposed to be quite a bit bigger than normal. They have also been described as sounding like a mortar being fired when Eddie fired his indoors.

Anyway I really like this series and have read all the DT-related books. Of those I liked Insomnia most followed closely by IT.

My girlfriend just got me the first of the comics
Overall its great so far
they seem to have added some stuff. Some of it i like, some of it i dont.
i think it's good that they distinguished Marten/Walter/Flagg/The Man in Black/ Maerlyn from Farson.

Yeah for some reason he serves Farson, who is really just another puppet of the Crimson King.

The Eyes of the Dragon is really good and takes place in one of the Baronies in the past. If you have not read it, it is a must read for Dark Tower fans.

In the books, right before Walter died (which by the way i didn't like how they did his death.) It's revealed that he was only serving Farson and the Crimson King to further is own ends and become "God of all"
Oh yeah I forgot about all that. And yes his death was pretty lame.
Definitely
He was this dark, malevolent, taunting spectre throughout the whole series
and just before he died, he was reduced to an idiotic childish fool
I never liked Mordred. It seemed to me like he was tacked on at the last minute. Then he just goes and kills one of the most powerful characters in the series like it's nothing. I was hoping for more of a Roland - Walter battle just before he gets to the Tower.
I hear ya man
I also thought the final battle with Roland and the Crimson King was a little lame
Yeah that was too. Sneetches? I didn't really have any idea how that was going to play out but that seemed a bit rushed as well.

My favorite part was the shoot out at Balazar's tower in The Drawing of the Three. I also liked the ambush in Song of Susannah.
yea that was awesome
My favorite part was at the end of the first book when Roland meets up with the Man in Black. And the part when Susannah leaves Roland and the Gunslinger disgraces himself. Very dramatic
