Is it two words out of the end of someone's sentence? Oh well, more of a challenge, then! Here, I'll go first, with a book I just finished this morning:

If anyone else has read this book, I'll have them know that I'm hungry for the sequel that sits on the shelf of the local public library. burning_eyes

I'm so horrible at recognizing books this way unless they're insanely easy. X3
I'm currently reading three books so I'll post the line from all three. One should be easy to get, one's kind of a trick, and the other is a bit harder.

Book 1:
"Elizabeth Bennet had been obliged, by the scarcity of gentleman,..."

Book 2:
"If you pit her against Haruhi Suzumiya, with her perpetually..."

Book 3:
"...everyone feel a bit more secure to know there's a ship standing by. Just in case."

It's - well, it was originally a magazine but they've just switched to a hardcover collection of essays, so I thought it counted.

Medieval poetry and Greek philosophers really get them going, hence the poetry on page 13.
