-sigh- Thread got deleted because I was encouraging trolling and flaming... And what happen today was my 75-year old auntie is in the hospital with pneumonia...

Is your aunt going to be alright?

Eh. I got a warning for trolling too.

You mean the anti-thread is gone?

Yeah.. it's gone. All almost 400 pages of it.

Oh well, we will make due with our discussions on the book and series here then. But looking through what has been posted thus far, people bring up various points that do make toward the Anti-perception of the book. And the only Fan feed back I have seen are the one liner 'Twilight is the best thing ever' posts. Which honestly bother me that they can not seem to bring for an intellectual debate on the subject regardless of what we have said thus far.
Okay... so has anyone heard anymore about the sparkle-bot petition form? The one the girl had against the wolf?

Some girl had a thread where she wanted like 10000 signatures to say Edward was better than Jacob.

I have, and I regret ever doing so. But I was forced to read them due to my friends stressing over how great it was. Honestly.. it was not. It was more of a waste of my time with fluffy reading than anything more. It lacked a plot, it lacked conflict.. it lacked everything a good book needs.. personally.

I think it's hard to enjoy something you are forced to do.

Does it count as reading the books if I skip all the pages where Bella thinks?

-facepalm- Dear god, how far fans will go to say a character is better than an other character...

@Ryo: ...Not really. I read Twilight, skipped New Moon, slugged through Eclipse, and read bits and pieces of Breaking Dawn but I know the whole story through spoilers and leaks.

Very true, but that seems to be the case with many reasons behind people disliking Twilight. Many fans will force you to 're-read' the book if you said you didn't like it. The only parts I DID enjoy.. was when I was able to stop reading it and actually think. The book is.. well.. it's too easy of a read. It doesn't let you think about what would happen, it doesn't leave you guessing.

Plotless and boring. It's dry. I've been flamed before with people claiming there is a plot, and it leads up to Bella becoming a 'vampire'. That's not a plot. Really.. it's not people. A plot is a series of climaxes created to form a situation for all characters to be affected. And as we know.. a plot needs conflict.. and I failed to see any conflict let alone character development through the pages of the four books.

And the fourth one was just.. horrible. It was like someone gave Meyers a triple x rated magazine and let her go to town. I got half way through and felt like my mind was about to die from the messages it was trying to send. I'm sorry.. just.. no.

If you want to keep your sanity, in my personal opinion, don't fully read the rest. It's just mostly Bella's bitching, depression and some minor .. VERY minor character development. But it's just more of saying how much of a moron Bella is.
i've read all the books twice, and i enjoyed them except the 2nd bella too depressed she agravates me, so i skiped the first 3/4s of it, but the 3 book i really enjoyed the fighting it was kool and the 4th book had alot of new characters and it was kool to see how bella's power grew, and i guess this is my last post on here because it only people talking are looking through really negative prespectives and i'm not enjoying that i do like seeing somthing from a new view but yall just keep dowing it
