Dango daikazoku...

So hopelessly addicted to Clannad right now.

Haha I just read that book in English class in the previous school year.

I sort of liked the book. I didn't dislike it, but it just wasn't my cup of tea thing.
But I liked it because of its theme and the symbolism in there.

edit: I actually I take that back about it wasn't my thing. I really did love the theme and hidden meanings in the book.

I didn't mind the book, but trying to figure out meaning in the book annoys me. I tend to take things at face value, so I enjoyed it as a action novel but not as it having some strange undermeaning beneath the subtext.

6,575 words on current project. Yell at me if it doesn't increase.

Thanks for the free letter, anonymous!

Don't stand so close to me. Roxanne... I can't stand losing you.

Message in a bottle.

I loved the book. I actually though it was really fun trying to decipher the symbolism and messages that it sends. I did find it a bit disturbing, but it really is a fantastic novel. My favourite school reading by far.

Is it next Thursday yet?

I just lost the game.

It was a slow book with a message too annoyingly clear for me to care about.

It was a fantastic book. Loved it, from start to finish. It's one of those reads that doesn't go away once you put it down.

Personally I found it to be 'okay'...but nothing too spectacular. There was a whole lot of 'under meanings' within the text that required some thought, but the diction and use of language shouldn't kill you or anything.

--->I liked Simon the best. He needed a hug.

I adore that book. It's amazing. I took it at face value as well as one of the above posters, and loved it like that. I reread it thinking about the meaning, and loved it. I wasn't expecting to, and approached it with hesitation, but it's so worth it.

It's good. No matter if you read at face value or look for the meaning, it's still good. I would suggest it to anyone.

As would I. A good friend of mine read it in the AP English class before my ADV. English class read it, and despised it (Namely Piggy.) My dad read it, and despised it. Because of this, I set myself up to hate it, but when I picked it up, I could not put it down. It was fast-paced, the characterization was excellent, and I felt like anybody could really connect to at least one of the characters. There's Piggy, intelligent but ignored, Ralph, who's a leader but wants to keep the peace, Jack's a leader but an a**, Simon's the quiet, introspective one- there's something for everybody.

its kind of a food for thought book. like brave new world but with a different plot.
