I thought it was very good. Then again I love basically all of Lackey's books. sweatdrop But yeah, read it, loved it.

Hmmm... it was a pretty good book... not up to the standards of some of her other works, but very nice none-the-less. wink A tad sad.... but it's not like we weren't warned beforehand. whee

I've always felt that "Take a Thief" was one the low points of the Valdamar series, it doesn't match up with earlier written back stories.

I liked Burning Brighly well enough.
