I am sorry for posting one of these threads.
But somehow, I think I'm desperate.
I apologize once again...

I am an avid fantasy lover.

Anything mythical or fantasy-ish would do.
Guide me.

Again, I'm sorry for troubling you.

Unless it's really good.
Not a joke.

Codex of Alera: Furies of Calderon by Jim Butcher is where to start. 5th book comes out in December, so start reading! Bare in mind that FoC sets up his entire world, so it may start out slow.

Yes, amazing book, and it's a series as well- so if you get hooked there's more to read. I second this suggestion.

My two favorite authors of all time to suggest:
Diana Wynne Jones- She's written a multitude of absolutely enthralling fantasy books
Catherine Fisher- I only own two books of hers, but I'm already in love with her writing style and her characters

"Candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker"- Willy Wonka

Cirque Du Freak by Darren Shan is really good,

The Rangers Apprentice: (book 1) The Ruins of .. Gorlan?

gooood book. Apperntly written for 12 year olds, but it's good anywya.

Red is for the crimson blood.
Black is for when it's dried, caked and decayed.
