Alright, I'm looking forward to it (when Tumblr is up).

Oh yeah, someone ripped my head off here for forgetting that Voldemort doesn't have a nose in the books (apparently you're supposed to retain everything in Harry Potter, even if it's a detail about the appearance of a character I don't like).

Technically she's an RP character, but I may retool her for original use (especially since she's from a steam punk RP and I'm toying with a steam punk setting for some original fiction).

O_o Wow. Just wow.

I found one out of the many that I have. Want me just to PM them to you here or what?

Eh, I've had worse. Someone went berserk when I thought yaoi and slash meant the same thing (I've only seen a handful of people who don't use the terms interchangeably, but you can't mix it up for people who think slash is srs business), and I found out that some of the best ways to annoy huge chunks of the serebii.net forum users is to suggest a moveset that isn't on Smogon (how dare I ask for feedback on a combo that worked nicely in game but was high risk) and to not think Paul has a good motivation to be a total douche (that battle had great emotional effect on Paul, shown by how he was about as expressionless as usual and besides, Pearl Harbor was one bombing and look what happened. I really wish I was joking about that one).

Wait. How does Pearl Harbor relate to Pokemon or Yaoi? I'm confused.
I complained that one Pokemon battle is a really weak motivation for Paul to become a power obsessed asshat, among the comments thrown at me from the Paul fans was essentially, "yeah, well Pearl Harbor was only one battle". If I'd seen that comment earlier I wouldn't have backed down, because people died at Pearl Harbor, unlike that crappy Pokemon battle.

Again, I ask: How does Pearl Harbor relate to Pokemon?

People are strange on the interwebs, I swear. sweatdrop

I have no idea. I don't want to try to understand the type of mind that thinks "OMGz this person doesn't understand Paul's deep motivation. Maybe if I compare it to an event that lead America into WWII this person will understand and be converted"

Like the Edward Cullen argument, you can compare a bunch of great leaders from back when, but he's nothing like them. Nothing.

He's a jerk. Plain and simple. He doesn't care much about anything but himself and his odd yet disturbing motivations. Heh, I don't know.

Edward Cullen: Unjustified Jerk

Meyer tries to explain his behavior as some "tortured soul" bull crap that comes from being motherless and a vampire.

I would've bought his cold little emo kid act if the rest of the Cullens weren't portrayed as rather nice while being in a similar situation.

The abuse he puts on Bella has no excuse whatsoever. He isn't trying to scare her off or anything. He's still an a** when she agrees to marry him.

How do people compare Edward to great leaders? I've never heard that before, and that sounds slightly more logical than Reggie lost a Pokemon battle=Pearl Harbor.

Honestly, that episode made Paul and Reggie all the more detestable to me. Yeah, I guess it's sad that his brother gave up on his dream after one loss. But instead of trying to, I don't know, use Reggie's methods to become a champion in his place, Paul decides to become a complete and utter douche, and Reggie lets him. Reggie is a stupid worthless enabler. [rant] A lot of people compare Paul to the GSC rival, Silver. They have a similar role in story (character who treats Pokemon roughly and serves as a foil to a protagonist) but Silver works better in my opinion. In game Silver is kind of pathetic and tries to make up for that by being a bully, and his father just dumped him on the street when he was eight, so kindness probably doesn't come to him easily. I know it's cliched, but he's a douche because he wasn't hugged enough by his jackass father and is overcompensating by being an a** and tearing apart his father's criminal organization to get attention. He has a stronger motivation and you know what, Silver learns to treat his Pokemon kindly, and improves enough to trigger his Golbat's evolution into Crobat (which can only be done if a Pokemon is happy and likes its trainer). What does Paul do? I think he starts using Pokemon centers when his Pokemon are hurt, BUT THAT'S JUST FREAKING COMMON SENSE. HOW MANY BATTLES DO YOU WIN WITH INJURED POKEMON? NOT A LOT, AND HOW MANY REGIONS DID THIS DUMBASS SUPPOSEDLY GO THROUGH WITHOUT FIGURING THAT OUT? Oh man, I think there's a bunch of Pokemon abandoned on the road side in various regions because they couldn't perform well due to an infected injury. Nice job, genius. [/end rant]

We're really off topic...Bel and Alex are talking about their writing careers, and we're talking about Pokemon and jerks in other forums.

@Mage: xD What else is there to talk about?
We've talked about Twilight to death in this forum. There's not a whole lot to speak of.

And as for your Pokemon rant, it's okay. I get the same way when it comes to Digimon. There are some characters on the show I would love to bitchslap, but they sort of change in the end. Sort of. It's been awhile since I've seen the show.

@Bele: Me know. Edward will always be that way, his excuses will remain the same, and pretty much we just have to accept it.

Like with Gaston, he's not gonna change even if James writes his POV. He'll still show this demented, psychopathic side to himself and justify by it by blaming it on his abusive childhood.

Edit: Wait. I take that back. Yes, they have.

I can't read this. I'm in public right now.

Also, virgins can dream about sex. :l Sure, it's probably not an accurate dream, but it happens.

I love using Karkat .gifs for this book. They depict my displeasure quite nicely.
Ah, the sporking. My head canon that Gray is trying to lure innocent victims into his clutches is taking new and disturbing turns; I'm now now wondering if he looked for colleges in his area with a lot of brunettes (since I think that was his type because they look like his mother) then donate a crapton of money so he could seduce girls on campus.

@Duet
I actually enjoy the GSC rival; he's one of my favorites. Or at least, I enjoy my interpretation, I'm sure some female players have interpreted him as sexy brooding guy with troubled past.

@Bel
Delightful Gif, I'm sure it will come in handy when I have time to get back to sporking.

Great, Mage. Now you gave me an image of some guy with a shiny white van luring young kids with promises of candy and puppies.

In Fifty Shades case, it's promises of love and desire, or just sex.

@Bele: (Ana) Omg! I dreamt about sex with Christian Grey! OMG! Who does that?! (Other than me, of course) OMG! It was both scary and so magical! It was...wonderful and yet terrifying! I CAN'T MAKE UP MY MIND!

He would do that. Of course, he would never use photobucket. "Photobucket" sounds like a troll porn site.
