I love to read! Books are better then shows and movies!! i get to use my own imagination : ) my friends like to tease me that i read porn XD i just like really descriptive sex scenes razz some of my favorite authors are Kresley Cole, Gena Showalter, Karen Marie Moning, Karen Chance, and laurell k Hamilton. There are more but i'm such a book worm that there are too many to type them all here razz I like to read books that are funny, sexy, thrilling, suspenseful, and can make me want to live in their world. those are the best kinds of books smile what kinds do you like to read?

I like descriptive sex scenes as well, it's why I couldn't get into 50 shades of grey, it was just so badly done. I don't read books for their sex scenes, but damn it, if you're going to throw in a sex scene then do it right.

Right?! i had such a hard time reading those books, i didn't even finish them. every other page is sex, sex, sex. Every situation they seemed to get into was just a set up for more sex...which is usually fine when it is well written.

For modern supernatural stuff,
I heartily recommend Jim Butcher's "Dresden Files."

I also recommend Carrie Vaughn's "Kitty Norville" series
in the same genre,

It's too easy to go overboard and make the main
character a Super-Saiyan in modern fantasy.
Both of these authors manage that nicely,

one of the best paranormal authors I've read yet is Victoria Laurie. She wrote the Ghost Hunters Mystery series, and I love them. Some of them make me laugh, and I love that in a good book. I also like the Bitter Creek novels and the Sisters of the Lone Star series by Joan Johnston. Both have very descriptive sex scenes, even though I don't read them just because of that. Most of them have made me laugh.
