Everyone talking about how they hated Professor Umbridge reminded me of how much I hated her while reading. Mainly when Harry had to write out lines in his own blood! I just wanted to attack her!

J.K Rowling is very good at making me get attatched to some characters, and making me want to hit some of the others. >.>

I'm afraid I really disliked pretty much everyone from Twilight. Perfect people really get on my nerves XD;

I know everyone has favorite book characters, but have you ever hated a character in a book so much that you wanted to beat them with a big stick?

My most hated book character of all time would have to be Catherine Earnshaw from Wuthering Heights. She was just....ergh. I liked every other character in that book, but she was completely beyond my even tolerating her.

I really hate the "perfect" children characters. They bug the crud out of me.

Ron Weasley in the last two books. He started out brave and witty and his good qualities outweighed his bad but books 6 and 7 his character was reduced to a whiny, low confidance, coward.
i really lost respect for him, I want old Ron back . sad

Joanna Archer from Vicki Petersson's The Scent of Shadows series. She's such a Mary Sue. She's the daughter of a Light agent and a Shadow boss, she's the prophesied Kairos, she's artistic, knows self defense, and now she's pretty and have a drop dead gorgeous body too. I wonder what stopped Vicki Petersson from adding that Joanna's also clever with gadgets and gizmos.
